Minor Version means one in which some new features and functionality are delivered along with fixes. Versions with numbering of "X.Y" are usually considered minor versions, e.g. webMethods 9.7 or Natural 6.3. Minor versions usually offer easy upgrade and an “install over” approach to upgrade.

Minor Version means a revision of the Software that includes new minor features or minor changes to the already existing features on the previous minor version of the Software. IDENTEC shall determine, in its sole discretion, what does constitute a minor change or a minor new feature. Any Minor Version shall be provided at the sole discretion of IDENTEC for a fee, unless Customer has signed a SMA with IDENTEC (valid at the time the Minor Version is released). A Minor Version is generally indicated by increasing the number after the first decimal point (along with or without an alphanumeric string denoting the release type and build number) by at least one full digit compared to the Software version previously released, for example: (i) from V2.0.8 to V2.1.0, or (ii) from V1.5.4 b10 RC to V1.6.0 b11. The Minor Version will reset to 0 when the Major Version number changes. A Minor Version should not include any changes in use case processes that would imply any change in backwards compatibility from the previous Minor Version.
