Midstream Business definition

Midstream Business means the gathering, distributing, marketing, selling, treating, processing, transmission, compression, fractionation, dehydration, sourcing, disposal, stabilization, treatment, transporting of, or storage, disposal, or other handling of, Hydrocarbons, water, carbon dioxide, sand, minerals, chemicals or other products or substances commonly created, used, recovered, produced or processed in the conduct of the Oil and Gas Business.
Midstream Business means the business of storage, processing, marketing and/or transmission of gas, oil or products thereof, including owning and operating pipelines, storage facilities, processing plants and facilities and gathering systems and other assets related thereto.
Midstream Business means the businesses and activities conducted by the Midstream Companies and excluding the Spin-Off Companies and the businesses and activities conducted by the Spin-Off Companies.

Examples of Midstream Business in a sentence

  • Engage in any line of business other than the Midstream Business, or make any Capital Expenditures or Acquisitions or Investments permitted by Section 7.02 except in connection with the Midstream Business.

  • Each vested Partnership Unit Option that is held by a Midstream Business Employee and outstanding immediately prior to the Effective Time, shall, as of the Effective Time, be cancelled and converted into the right to receive the Merger Consideration in respect of each Net Partnership Unit represented by such Partnership Unit Option.

More Definitions of Midstream Business

Midstream Business means either (a) gathering, transportation, treating, processing, marketing or otherwise handling Hydrocarbons, or activities or services reasonably related or ancillary thereto including, without limitation, entering into Swap Agreements to support such business, or (b) any other business that generates gross income that constitutes “qualifying income” under Section 7704(d) of the Code.
Midstream Business means the business of storage, processing, marketing and/or transmission of gas, oil or products thereof, including, without limitation, owning and operating pipelines, storage facilities, processing plants and facilities and gathering systems, and other assets related thereto.
Midstream Business means (i) the gathering, marketing, treating, processing, storage, selling, transporting, transmission, compression, fractionation, dehydration, stabilization or treatment of Hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide or water, (ii) any business or activity related to the acquisition or transfer of carbon credits and renewable energy certificates or any business or activity related to the abatement, capture or sequester of greenhouse gas emissions generated from gathering, marketing, treating, processing, storage, selling, transporting, transmission, compression, fractionation, dehydration, stabilization or treatment of Hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide or water and (iii) any activity that is ancillary to or necessary or appropriate for the activities described in clauses (i) and (ii) of this definition.
Midstream Business means the gathering, marketing, treating, processing, storage, selling, transporting transmission, compression, fractionation, dehydration, sourcing, disposal, stabilization or treatment of Hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide or water.
Midstream Business has the meaning ascribed to the termSpinCo Business” in the Separation and Distribution Agreement.
