Micro Business definition

Micro Business means a company which either:

Micro Business means a company which meets one of the following criteria: consumes less than 293,000 kWh of gas a year, or consumes less than 100,000 kWh of electricity a year, or has fewer than ten employees (or their full-time equivalent) and an annual turnover or annual balance sheet total not exceeding 2m.

• In accordance with Section 2-8.1.1.1.1 of the Miami-Dade County Code, contracts valued up to $100,000 are set-aside for certified Micro Business Enterprises (Micro) and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) firms, if there is sufficient availability (three or more firms certified under the commodity code).

• For ITQ awards valued up to and including $100,000, a 10% (ten percent) bid preference shall apply for certified Micro Business Enterprise (Micro) bidders.

• Such Early Termination Payment will not apply if you were a Micro Business Consumer when you entered into this Agreement and the termination comes into effect at or after the end of the initial Supply Period.
