Metering Service definition

Metering Service means a service in connection with the measurement of electricity production or consumption, including in connection with:
Metering Service means the performance of functions related to the provision, installa- tion, testing, maintenance, repair and reading of electric meters used for billing of retail customers and maintaining meter usage data as well as the maintenance and manag e- ment of meter information and meter data with respect to those meters. (See Section 460.15.)
Metering Service has the meaning given to ‘Metering Service’ in the Code and the categories of Metering services are set out in Schedule 2 to this Agreement.

More Definitions of Metering Service

Metering Service means the metering service or services provided by PRE in respect of a Connection Point pursuant to its obligations under the Metering Code and described in this Agreement, or as otherwise agreed between PRE and the User.
Metering Service means respectively, the installation, testing, calibration, operation, repair and maintenance of metering equipment for use in upstream petroleum operations.

Related to Metering Service

  • Metering System means all meters and metering devices (including current transformers and potential transformers) installed by the Company and uses to measure Electricity and delivery by the Company and receipt by the BPDB of Net Energy Output. The Metering System shall be owned and maintained by the Company.

  • Net metering system means a facility for the production of electrical energy that does all of the following:

  • smart metering system means an electronic system that can measure energy consumption, providing more information than a conventional meter, and can transmit and receive data for information, monitoring and control purposes, using a form of electronic communication;

  • Interconnection Service means the physical and electrical interconnection of the Customer Facility with the Transmission System pursuant to the terms of Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI and the Interconnection Service Agreement entered into pursuant thereto by Interconnection Customer, the Interconnected Transmission Owner and Transmission Provider. Interconnection Service Agreement:

  • Surplus Interconnection Service means any unneeded portion of Interconnection Service established in an Interconnection Service Agreement, such that if Surplus Interconnection Service is utilized, the total amount of Interconnection Service at the Point of Interconnection would remain the same.
