Merit Pay definition

Merit Pay wherever used in this Agreement shall mean that part of the regular salary paid to an employee which is above the job rate for his or her classification as set out in the Salary Schedule.
Merit Pay means an increase in compensation granted on the basis of job performance, as determined during the annual performance review process.
Merit Pay. The administrator shall receive an annual merit pay stipend based on a percentage of the annual salary according to the following percentages: 2014-2015 (2%), 2015-2016 (3%), and 2016-2017 (3%). In order to qualify, the administrator must be rated as effective or highly effective on the annual evaluation.

  • Base building Merit Pay (9/1/12) Base building merit pay shall be a base building increase based on final performance evaluation and salary position within the pay range on June 1.

  • The rating obtained by an employee will be used as an input to determine Merit Pay increases.

  • All employees in the BMA classification shall be eligible for Merit Pay.

Related to Merit Pay

  • Directors Fees means the annual fees paid by any Employer, including retainer fees and meetings fees, as compensation for serving on the board of directors.

  • Debit Payment means a particular transaction where a debit is made.

  • Deferral Contributions are Salary Reduction Contributions and Cash or Deferred Contributions the Employer contributes to the Trust on behalf of an Eligible Employee, irrespective of whether, in the case of Cash or Deferred Contributions, the contribution is at the election of the Employee. For Salary Reduction Contributions, the terms "deferral contributions" and "elective deferrals" have the same meaning.

  • Tax Benefit Payment is defined in Section 3.1(b) of this Agreement.

  • Deferral Contribution means any contribution made to the Plan by the Employer in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.03.

  • Deferred Compensation Account means the account maintained with respect to each Participant under the Plan. The Deferred Compensation Account shall be credited with Participant Deferral Credits and Employer Credits, credited or debited for deemed investment gains or losses, and adjusted for payments in accordance with the rules and elections in effect under Section 8. The Deferred Compensation Account of a Participant shall include any In-Service or Education Account of the Participant, if applicable.

  • Capitation means the reimbursement arrangement in which a fixed rate of payment per Enrollee per month is made to the Contractor for the performance of all of the Contractor’s duties and obligations pursuant to this Contract.

  • Gross compensation means every form of remuneration payable for a given period to an individual for services provided including salaries, commissions, vacation pay, severance pay, bonuses, and any board, rent, housing, lodging, payments in kind, and any similar benefit received from the individual's employer.

  • Structured settlement annuity means an annuity purchased in order to fund periodic payments for a plaintiff or other claimant in payment for or with respect to personal injury suffered by the plaintiff or other claimant.

  • Deferral means the amount or amounts of a Participant’s Compensation deferred under the provisions of Section 3.

  • Distribution Election With respect to any Series, as specified in the related Supplement.

  • Deferred Compensation Award means an award of Stock Units granted to a Participant pursuant to Section 11 of the Plan.

  • Deferral Account means the Company's accounting of the Director's accumulated Deferrals plus accrued interest.

  • Elective Deferral Account means the account established hereunder to which Elective Deferrals (including a separate accounting for Catch-Up Contributions) are allocated. Amounts in the Participant's Elective Deferral Account are nonforfeitable when made and are subject to the distribution restrictions of Section 12.2(e). The Elective Deferral Account may consist of the

  • Special compensation means payment to an adult foster care facility to ensure the provision of a specialized program in addition to the basic payment for adult foster care. Special compensation does not include payment received directly from the Medicaid program for personal care services for a resident, or payment received under the supplemental security income program.

  • Separation Benefits has the meaning accorded such term in Section 3.04.

  • Includible Compensation means an Employee’s actual wages in box 1 of Form W-2 for a year for services to the Employer, but subject to a maximum of $245,000 (or such higher maximum as may apply under section 401(a)(17) of the Code) and increased (up to the dollar maximum) by any compensation reduction election under section 125, 132(f), 401(k), 403(b), or 457(b) of the Code (including any Elective Deferral under the Plan). Beginning in 2009 and thereafter, such term also includes any “differential pay” that may be received from the Employer while performing qualified military service under section 414(u) of the Code. The amount of Includible Compensation is determined without regard to any community property laws.
