Merchant means a company, firm or other organisation accepting either all Cards as a means of payment for goods and/or services or at least one type of Card for business to business transactions.
Contract Owner means the holder of interests in a variable annuity or variable life insurance contract issued by the Company.
Master Tenant means any entity approved by HUD now or hereafter leasing the Healthcare Facility pursuant to a Master Lease.
Operator means the operator of an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application with actual knowledge that the site, service, or application is used for K–12 school purposes. Any entity that operates an internet website, online service, online application, or mobile application that has entered into a signed, written agreement with an LEA to provide a service to that LEA shall be considered an “operator” for the purposes of this section.
Franchisee means a person to whom a franchise is granted. Franchisee includes the following:
Property Manager means an entity that has been retained to perform and carry out at one or more of the Properties property-management services, excluding persons, entities or independent contractors retained or hired to perform facility management or other services or tasks at a particular Property, the costs for which are passed through to and ultimately paid by the tenant at such Property.
Low-speed vehicle means any four-wheeled electrically-powered vehicle, except a motor vehicle or
Rental Vehicle means a New Vehicle less than two years old owned by a New Vehicle Borrower and purchased directly from a manufacturer as a New Vehicle and that is used as a service loaner vehicle or is periodically subject to a rental contract with customers of the New Vehicle Borrower for loaner or rental periods of up to thirty (30) consecutive days or is used by dealership personnel in connection with parts and service operations.
Retailer means every person engaged in the business of making sales at retail, or for distribution,
Vehicle owner means the registered owner or
Off-highway vehicle means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.
Truck lessor means a person who holds the legal title to any motor vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer
Financial Services Provider means any Lender and any other provider of financial services or products;
Merchant Services means services provided to merchants relating to the authorization, transaction capture, settlement, chargeback handling and internet-based transaction processing of credit, debit, stored-value and loyalty card and other payment transactions (including provision of point of service devices and other equipment necessary to capture merchant transactions and other ancillary services).
CGS means the Connecticut General Statutes.
Retail seller means any person that sells any dangerous drug to consumers without assuming control over and responsibility for its administration. Mere advice or instructions regarding administration do not constitute control or establish responsibility.
Merchant Account means any account with an Acquirer or other Financial Institution, service provider, Payment Processor, ISO, or other entity that enables an individual, a business, or other organization to accept payments of any kind.
Landholder means a party that directly or indirectly owns or leases 22 nonexempt land, as provided in 43 CFR 426.2;
