Member Agency definition

Member Agency means a voting and dues paying municipal or other government entity located within Kitsap County which is a party to this Agreement.

Member Agency or “Member” means any public agency which is a signatory and party to this Agreement.

Member Agency means each public agency which is a member of Alameda CTC pursuant to the JPA.

• Any notice or instrument required to be given or delivered shall be personally delivered or deposited in the United States mail, registered or certified, postage prepaid, addressed to the clerk or secretary of the Member Agency or Party at the address indicated on the website of the Member Agency or Party and shall be deemed to have been received by addressee 72 hours after such deposit.

• Withdrawal of a Member Agency shall not affect the remaining Member Agencies, nor shall such withdrawal change or impact where the Transit Authority can provide services or otherwise operate.

• Each Member Agency shall notify the Transit Authority in writing upon making an appointment or change thereof.

• The Transit Authority shall receive approval from a Member Agency prior to applying for federal, state or local funds within the jurisdiction of said Member Agency.

More Definitions of Member Agency

Member Agency means each of the original signatories to this Agreement and any Local Agency, which hereafter becomes a signatory to this Agreement pursuant to Section 6.12.

Member Agency means a party to the JPA. Current member agencies are the County of Alameda, the Cities of Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Union City, and the Castro Valley and Oro Loma Sanitary Districts. The service areas for the purpose of Section 98 of this Ordinance are:

Member Agency or “Member Agencies” shall mean the local and/or regional public agencies regulated under the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. § 1251 et seq., the federal Safe Drinking Water Act, 42 U.S.C. § 300f et seq., and/or the state Safe Drinking Water Act, Health & Safety Code § 116275 et seq., that operate within or have jurisdiction over any area within the North Bay Region, and that are signatories to this MOU. Member Agencies are entitled to one voting member on the Board of Directors and Technical Advisory Committee as defined herein.
