Meet and Confer definition

Meet and Confer means the exchange of views and concerns between the Employer and the Association.
Meet and Confer means a good faith conference in person or by telephone to attempt to resolve the matter in dispute without the court’s involvement. The court expects a high degree of professionalism and collegiality among counsel during any meet and confer conference.
Meet and Confer procedures mean the procedures established by Section 8.7 of this Settlement.

Meet and Confer will mean an obligation to meet and provide information relating to a specific issue with the intent of resolving such issue.
Meet and Confer means a conference between opposing parties initiated by the movant in an effort to resolve the dispute. If a conference has not taken place, the movant or respondent, or their counsel, must submit a statement describing the efforts made to accomplish the required meet and confer.
