Medically Involved Children definition

Medically Involved Children s Program (MICP)" means the waiver program granted by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that allows Title XIX funds to be spent on children living in their family home who otherwise would have to be served in a nursing facility if the waiver program was not available.
Medically Involved Children s Waiver" means the 1915(c) Home and Community-Based Services waiver granted by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that allows Medicaid funds to be spent on a child living in the family home who otherwise would have to be served in a nursing facility if the waiver program was not available.
