Medical screening definition

Medical screening means the examination conducted by medical personnel of a person to ascertain eligibility for admis- sion to a substance abuse treatment service and to assess the per- son’s medical needs.

Medical screening means a system of structured observation/initial health assessment to identify newly arrived children who pose a health or safety threat to themselves or others.
