Medical cannabis collective definition

Medical cannabis collective or "Collective" shall mean an affiliation, association, or collective of persons comprised exclusively and entirely of qualified patients and the primary caregivers of those patients, the purpose of which is to collectively provide for or assist in the cultivation and distribution of Medical Cannabis to its members. Collectives may have more than one location. Each location of a Collective shall be subject to the regulations in Section 12.27.120. Medical cannabis collectives shall not be located in commercial or manufacturing districts, and shall only be allowed in residential districts, and only to the extent they are incidental to residential use. A Collective may be organized as any statutory business entity permitted under California law, provided it operates in a Not-For-Profit manner as defined in Chapter 12.27.
