Mechanical Completion means that (a) all components and systems of the Project have been properly constructed, installed and functionally tested according to EPC Contract requirements in a safe and prudent manner that does not void any equipment or system warranties or violate any permits, approvals or Laws; (b) the Project is ready for testing and commissioning, as applicable; (c) Seller has provided written acceptance to the EPC Contractor of mechanical completion as that term is specifically defined in the EPC Contract.
Mechanical Completion has the meaning set forth in Section 12.5.
Mechanical Completion means that (i) all Equipment comprising the relevant Unit (including all materials and components but excluding minor or Punch List items) shall have been installed, erected, aligned, and adjusted at the Site in a non-operating condition, in accordance with Appendix A, (ii) backfeed power and grid connection for the relevant Unit has been provided or alternative commissioning power have been made available by the Buyer, (iii) a complete fiber optic network connection for the relevant Unit compliant with the minimum SCADA requirements established by the Seller has been provided, (iv) the relevant Unit is ready for initial operation in a safe manner, and (v) the Buyer has provided the Seller with a Mechanical Completion Certificate.

Subject to the occurrence of the FNTP Date, Seller shall cause the Work to achieve Mechanical Completion.
The Purchase Price shall be increased or decreased, as applicable, to the extent provided in any Change Orders pursuant to Section 6.2 and Section 10.3. The changes shall be applied to the payment due at Mechanical Completion or, if that payment has been made, to the payment due at Project Substantial Completion.
At least twenty-one (21) days, but no more than thirty-five (35) days, prior to the date on which Seller anticipates the Work will achieve Mechanical Completion (the “Anticipated Mechanical Completion Date”), Seller shall provide to Buyer written notice of the Anticipated Mechanical Completion Date.

More Definitions of Mechanical Completion
Mechanical Completion means, as to a Unit, when, except for minor items of work that would not affect the safety and/or performance or operation of the Facility such as painting, landscaping and so forth, (a) all materials and equipment required to be installed by the EPC Contractor for the Unit have been installed, calibrated, loop checked and checked for alignment, lubrication, rotation and hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure integrity; (b) all systems required to be installed by the EPC Contractor have been installed and tested at significant loads; (c) such systems have been flushed and cleaned out as necessary; (d) all such equipment and systems have been fully operated in a safe and prudent manner at nominal ratings and have been installed in a manner that does not (i) void any subcontractor or vendor equipment, system or other warranties or (ii) violate any Governmental Approvals; and (e) all systems required to be installed by the EPC Contractor and necessary for power generation are ready to commence testing and operations, the distributed control system for the Facility is operational and the continuous emissions monitoring system has been installed.
Mechanical Completion means that each of the following requirements has been satisfied (and continues to be satisfied as of the date of Mechanical Completion) or waived by Buyer: (i) the Project is mechanically and electrically complete and pre-operational testing (including all functionality tests contemplated by the Scope Book to be conducted prior to, or as part of achieving, Mechanical Completion) has been successfully completed; (ii) the Project (including the components and systems thereof) is assembled, constructed, and installed, and is ready to commence commissioning, testing, and operation, all according to the Performance Standard; (iii) all required system interfaces for the Project are complete and all process and safety systems for the Project are ready for operational testing according to this Agreement (including the Scope Book); (iv) the FD/PR Condition is satisfied; (v) the Project satisfies the requirements of, and is in compliance with, all Laws and applicable Permits; and (vi) [reserved]. The date of such Mechanical Completion shall be determined in accordance with Section 7.3.
Mechanical Completion means when (i) installation of all necessary components and systems of the Generating Facilities (except for completion of painting, final grading, and similar portions of the construction work not affecting the operability, safety, or mechanical and electrical integrity of the Generating Facilities) has been completed; (ii) the Generating Facilities are mechanically and electrically sound; and (iii) the Generating Facilities are ready for initial operation, adjustment, and testing.
Mechanical Completion means, with respect to each unit, system, phase or component of the Facility, the completion of the Work relating thereto, which includes setting of the applicable equipment on foundations; connecting such equipment to other applicable equipment with piping, wiring, controls, and safety systems; ensuring that such equipment and such related operating systems are individually cleaned, leak checked, lubricated, energized, calibrated and point-to-point checked to verify that such equipment and such related operating systems have been correctly installed so as to respond to simulated test signals equivalent to actual signals received during operation; and ensuring that such equipment and related operating systems are ready for initial operation, adjustment and testing and may be so operated, adjusted and tested without damage thereto or to any other property and without injury to any person. Mechanical Completion shall include but not be limited to the following pre-commissioning activities with respect to the applicable unit, system phase or component: stroking of control valves, phase rotation of electrical equipment, and continuity of other electrical circuits (including loop checks) and response of controls and control equipment.
Mechanical Completion shall have the meaning set forth in Section 10.2.
Mechanical Completion has the meaning given in Section 4.3(b).
Mechanical Completion means the satisfaction of all of the following conditions: (a) the Project is mechanically, electrically and functionally complete and ready for initial operations, adjustment and testing, except for Non-Critical Deficiencies, and that the Contractor has completed the design, engineering, procurement, permitting, assembly, construction and installation of the same, in accordance with this Agreement, including: (i) the connection of all such equipment to other applicable equipment as required by way of wiring, controls, and safety systems; and (ii) ensuring that all instruments and relays are installed and functional and all required protective and control features are operational; (b) Contractor has commissioned the Project in accordance with the Commissioning Plan; (c) the Meteorological Stations have been installed and placed into operation by Contractor; (d) the telemetry system has been installed and placed into operation by Contractor; and (e) the telecommunications system has been installed and placed into operation by Contractor.
