Mauritius waters definition

Mauritius waters means the territorial sea, internal waters, archipelagic waters, historic waters, the EEZ of Mauritius, and the water superjacent to its continental shelf;
Mauritius waters means any waters where Mauritius has jurisdiction in respect of the protection and preservation of the marine environment within the meaning of the Maritime Zones Act 2002;

  • The EU’s financial contribution for vessels to have access to Mauritius waters under this extension Agreement shall correspond to half of the annual amount provided for under Article 4 (2) (a) of the Protocol, thus amounting to EUR 110 000, equivalent to a reference tonnage of 2000 tonnes.

  • Fresh water means water, such as tap water, that has not been previously used in a process operation or, if the water has been recycled from a process operation, it has been treated and meets the effluent guidelines for chromium wastewater.
