Material of Environmental Concern definition

Material of Environmental Concern means and includes pollutants, contaminants, hazardous wastes, and toxic, radioactive, caustic or otherwise hazardous substances, including petroleum, its derivatives, by-products and other hydrocarbons, or any substance having any constituent elements displaying any of the foregoing characteristics.
Material of Environmental Concern means and includes pollutants, contaminants, toxic substances, oil as defined in the United States Oil Pollution Act of 1990 and all hazardous substances as defined in the United States Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Xxx 0000;
Material of Environmental Concern means chemicals, pollutants, contaminants, hazardous materials, hazardous substances and hazardous wastes, toxic substances, petroleum and petroleum products that are regulated under the Environmental Laws.

More Definitions of Material of Environmental Concern

Material of Environmental Concern means (i) any petroleum or petroleum products, radioactive materials, asbestos in any form that is or could become friable, urea formaldehyde foam insulation and transformers or other equipment that contain dielectric fluid containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs); (ii) any chemicals, materials, substances or wastes which are defined as or included in the definition ofhazardous substances,” “hazardous wastes,” “hazardous materials,” “extremely hazardous wastes,” “restricted hazardous wastes,” “toxic substances,” “toxic pollutants” or words of similar import, under any Environmental Law; and (iii) any other chemical, material, substance or waste, exposure to which is prohibited, limited or regulated by any Governmental Entity.
Material of Environmental Concern shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 3.16(d).
