Match Official definition

Match Official means a match official as defined in the GDT.
Match Official means a referee, assistant referee, fourth official, match commissioner, any person in charge of safety or any other person appointed by FFA, Football NSW, a Referee’s Body, a Centre, an Association Member or a Club to assume responsibility in connection with a Match.

Examples of Match Official in a sentence

  • Engage in any other form of conduct that might bring into disrepute or be detrimental to the interests, welfare or image of: The Club; The NSWRL; The NSWRL Competitions; Any Match Official; Other clubs and / or other players which compete in any NSWRL Competition; The Game; or The Player; or would be likely to have that effect if the Player continued to be employed by the Club.

  • Fail to obey a direction from a Match Official to enter or leave the field of play.

  • No term of this Agreement will operate to exclude the NES or any provision of the NES or be detrimental to a Match Official in any respect when compared to the NES.

  • These experts for Coaches courses Match Official courses Will be assimilated as Rugby Europe Officials.


More Definitions of Match Official

Match Official means the referee and/or assistant referees appointed for that Match. “Member Union” means a Union in membership of the Rugby AU.
Match Official means a referee, assistant referee, fourth official, assessor, match commissioner, any person in charge of safety or any other person appointed by FFA, Football NSW, a Referees’ Body, a Centre, a Club, an Association Member or its clubs to assume responsibility in connection with a fixture and/or match but does not include a Team Official or Club Official;
Match Official means an individual who is not a CEV Official, appointed by the CEV or a National Federation to a determined and specific level of a CEV competition in order to exercise and fulfil the assigned duties of one of the following roles:
Match Official means any Referee, Reserve Referee, Assistant Referee, TV
Match Official means a referee, assistant referee, fourth official, referee assessor, match commissioner, any person in charge of safety. It does not include a team or club official except where that team or club official is required to perform the role of center referee in a match due to unavailability of a HFR official;
Match Official means the referee, assistant referees, fourth official, match commissioner, referee inspector/assessor, the person in charge of safety, and other persons appointed by the NLSA to assume responsibility in connection with a match.
Match Official means Referees and Assistant Referees and includes Reserve Officials and Fourth Officials.
