Marketing Rights definition

Marketing Rights means promotional and advertising rights to photographs, video or film images, or other likenesses or images of the Athlete, Athlete’s image, voice, name, personality, likeness and fame gained in Athletics as a member of the NSO National Team to promote the NSO and its high performance program and athletes, and includes all Athlete images whether captured in competition, training or in plain clothes, non-competition environments used in any media whatsoever (print, video, digital, social, etc.);
Marketing Rights means, in any and all media, any and all advertising rights, promotional rights, rights of endorsement, rights of association, premium and giveaway rights, marketing rights, merchandising and licensing rights, concession rights, sponsorship rights, hospitality rights, travel and tourism rights, ticketing rights, accommodation rights, publishing rights, betting/gaming rights, retail rights, music rights and any other rights and/or associated commercial opportunities relating to the Competition to the extent that such rights are not Media Rights.
Marketing Rights means the right to exploit by any and all means and in any and all media whether now known or devised in the future any types of advertising, promotion (including, without limitation, electronic and virtual promotion and ticket promotions), endorsement, public relations, marketing, merchandising, licensing, franchising, sponsorship, hospitality, concessions, travel and tourism, publishing, betting, gaming, retailing, music, and all other commercial association rights and opportunities in relation to an FIVB competition that are not media rights or data rights.

  • For purposes of this Agreement, the term “Confidential Information” shall mean the Service pricing under this Agreement (unless disclosed in accordance with Section 26.4 (Marketing Rights)) and all information clearly marked at the time of its original disclosure from one party to the other as confidential.

  • The NSO or NSO Partner shall pay all expenses of the Athlete directly related to the Athlete’s Marketing Rights and participation in any agreed-upon NSO Sanctioned Activity, including, but not limited to, any and all types of transportation, parking, entrance fees, hotel accommodations and meals.

  • The NSO is only required to provide the Athlete with additional compensation if they want to use the Athlete’s individual Marketing Rights for Commercial Use.

  • Further, FIFA exclusively and solely owns and controls on a world-wide basis any and all Media Rights, Marketing Rights, Intellectual Property Rights and all other commercial or other rights and opportunities, including any title and interest in, and in relation to, the Competitions, including any Competition- related Events, whether existing or created in the future.

  • In exchange for the investment the NSO is making in the Athlete, the Athlete is asked to give Marketing Rights, time and effort in a clearly defined list of activities each season, as part of their role as an ambassador.


More Definitions of Marketing Rights

Marketing Rights means, in relation to any match or phase of the competition, the right to advertise, promote, endorse and market such match or phase of the competition; to conduct public relations activities in relation to such match or phase of the competition; and to exploit all advertising, sponsorship, hospitality, licensing, merchandising, publishing, betting, gaming, retailing, music and franchising opportunities and all other commercial association rights (including through ticket promotions) in relation to such match or phase of the competition;

Marketing Rights means the right to advertise, promote, endorse and market the UEFA Champions League and the play-offs; to conduct public relations activities in relation to the UEFA Champions League and the play-offs; and to exploit all advertising, sponsorship, hospitality, licensing, merchandising, publishing, betting, gaming, retailing, music and franchising opportunities and all other commercial association rights (including through ticket promotions) in relation to the UEFA Champions League and the play-offs;
