Marcellus Formation means, (a) in central Pennsylvania, specifically from the top of the Xxxxxxx in the XxXxxxxx #1 (API 37-129-27246) and 7000’MD through to the top of the Onondaga at 7530’MD and illustrated in the log attached on Exhibit B-6; (b) in southwest Pennsylvania, specifically from the top of the Xxxxxxx in the GH-10C-CV (API 37-059-25397) at 7600’MD through to the top of the Onondaga at 7900’MD and illustrated in the log attached on Exhibit B-6; and (c) in West Virginia, specifically from the top of the Xxxxxxx in the DEPI #14815 (API 47-001-02850) at 7350’MD through to the top of the Onondaga at 7710’MD and illustrated in the log attached on Exhibit B-6.
Marcellus Formation means, the geological formations that are known as the Marcellus Shale formations, which generally include the stratigraphic equivalent of the formations found in the Xxxxx Messenger ETZ 3H U well (API#4710302973) located in Xxxxxx County, West Virginia, with the top (being the top of the Marcellus Shale formation) at the correlative stratigraphic equivalent to that point found at a measured depth of 7,298 feet on the Gamma-Ray (GM) log of such well (the “Log”) and the base (being the top of the Onondaga formation) at the correlative stratigraphic equivalent to that point found at a measured depth of 7,346 feet on the Log, recognizing that the actual depth will vary across the Lands.
Marcellus Formation means the stratigraphic equivalent of that geological formation found in the DiCarlo #18H Well, API #37-051-24477 located in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, with a top at 7,910 TVD and base at 8,240 TVD.
