Management Rights definition

Management Rights. The rights, if any, of a Partner to participate in the management of the Company, including the rights to receive information, to inspect and audit the books and records, and to vote on, consent to, or approve the action of the Company.

Examples of Management Rights in a sentence

  • In accordance with the Management Rights article in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (hereafter referred to as CBA), the Employer may create, maintain, direct, control, expand, reduce and/or terminate the canine program and the canine(s) shall be the property of the Employer.

Management Rights means the right, obtained contractually or through ownership of securities, either through one person alone or in conjunction with one or more persons acting together or through an affiliated person, to substantially participate in, to substantially influence the conduct of, or to provide (or to offer to provide) significant guidance and counsel concerning, the management, operations or business objectives of the operating company in which the venture capital investment is made.
