Managed Assets definition

Managed Assets means the total assets of the Trust minus the sum of the accrued liabilities (other than the aggregate indebtedness constituting financial leverage). For any period less than a month during which this Agreement is in effect, the fee shall be prorated according to the proportion which such period bears to a full month of 28, 29, 30 or 31 days, as the case may be.
Managed Assets means the total assets of the Trust (including any assets attributable to money borrowed for investment purposes) minus the sum of the Trust’s accrued liabilities (other than money borrowed for investment purposes).
Managed Assets means the Fund’s net assets, plus assets attributable to any principal amount of any borrowings (including the issuance of commercial paper or notes) or preferred stock outstanding. For the avoidance of doubt, assets attributable to borrowings includes the portion of the Fund’s assets in a tender option bond trust of which the Fund owns the residual interest (without regard to the value of the residual interest to avoid double counting).

Examples of Managed Assets in a sentence

  • Acting on Illegal Information Manager shall not place orders to purchase and/or sell any Managed Assets on the basis of any material information obtained, or utilized, by Manager in violation of the securities laws, rules, or regulations of the United States or any State, or any other country in which Manager transacts business on XXXXXX’s behalf.

  • Investment Manager Manager hereby represents that it is an “Investment Manager”, as that term is defined in Section 3(38) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended, for LACERA with respect to the Managed Assets allocated to Manager for investment, and that Manager will maintain that status as long as this Agreement is in effect.

  • Manager shall cooperate with LACERA in good faith to effect a smooth and orderly transfer of the Managed Assets and of such services and all applicable records.

  • Audit Settlement If an error is discovered as a result of an audit performed by Manager or LACERA, or if Manager becomes aware of any error affecting the Account or Managed Assets through any other means, Manager shall use its best efforts to promptly correct such error or to cause the appropriate party to correct such error.

  • Notification of Tax Liabilities Manager shall promptly notify LACERA if at any time, LACERA is required to pay taxes to any government or to file any returns or other tax documents with respect to income earned on the Managed Assets.


More Definitions of Managed Assets

Managed Assets means the Fund’s average daily gross asset value, minus the sum of the Fund’s accrued and unpaid dividends on any outstanding preferred shares and accrued liabilities (other than liabilities for the principal amount of any borrowings incurred, commercial paper or notes issued by the Fund and the liquidation preference of any outstanding preferred shares.
Managed Assets means the Fund’s net assets, including assets attributable to any principal amount of any borrowings (including the issuance of commercial paper or notes) or preferred shares outstanding. For the avoidance of doubt, assets attributable to borrowings includes the portion of the Fund’s assets in a tender option bond trust of which the Fund owns the residual interest (without regard to the value of the residual interest to avoid double counting).
Managed Assets for this purpose means the total assets of the Fund, minus the sum of its accrued liabilities (other than Fund liabilities incurred for the express purpose of creating leverage). Total assets for this purpose shall include assets attributable to the Fund’s use of effective leverage (whether or not those assets are reflected in the Fund’s financial statements for purposes of U.S. GAAP).
Managed Assets means the Fund’s total assets (including any assets attributable to money borrowed for investment purposes) minus the sum of the Fund’s accrued liabilities (other than money borrowed for investment purposes). For the avoidance of doubt, assets attributable to money borrowed for investment purposes includes the portion of the Fund’s assets in a TOB Trust of which the Fund owns the residual interest (without regard to the value of the residual interest to avoid double counting).
Managed Assets means the total assets of the Fund (including any assets attributable to any leverage that may be outstanding) minus the sum of accrued liabilities (other than debt representing financial leverage).
Managed Assets means the total assets of the Trust, including the assets attributable to the proceeds from financial leverage, including the issuance of senior securities represented by indebtedness (including through borrowing from financial institutions or issuance of debt securities, including notes or commercial paper), the issuance of preferred shares, the effective leverage of certain portfolio transactions such as reverse repurchase agreements, dollar rolls and inverse floating rate securities, or any other form of financial leverage, minus liabilities, other than liabilities related to any financial leverage. For any period less than a month during which this Agreement is in effect, the fee shall be prorated according to the proportion which such period bears to a full month of 28, 29, 30 or 31 days, as the case may be.
