Major Release definition

Major Release means a major update or upgrade to the Software, which includes significant enhancements and/or a major redesign of the Software, identified by Bosch by a change to the first digit in the release number (e.g. change from version 2.0 to 3.0).

Major Release means a Product release which may deliver significant new features, enhancements to existing features, or performance improvements, as well as Error corrections. Major Releases incorporate all applicable Fixes made in prior Major Releases, Minor Releases, and Maintenance Releases.

Major Release means a release of Software that provides additional Software features and/or functions. Major Releases are designated by Cisco as a change in the ones digit of the Software version number [(x).x.x].

Examples of Major Release in a sentence

• TeamViewer shall not be obligated to provide any Major Release Versions of the Software.

• The new Software version which contains the Major Release (“Major Release Version”, Minor Release Versions and Major Release Versions, both a “Version”) may be marked by TeamViewer – in its sole discretion – by a change of the main version number (e.g. version XX, YY).

• In the event that TeamViewer elects to provide a Major Release Version of the Software, TeamViewer may require the Customers of Perpetual licenses to pay an additional fee for use of such new Major Release Version.

• DI will provide the Maintenance and Support Services set forth in this Schedule, and any related Exhibits, for the current Major Release and the previous Major Release of a Supported Version of the Software for which Customer has a valid license to Use and for which Customer is current on all Maintenance and Support Services Fees.

More Definitions of Major Release

Major Release a Release of the Software that is designated by Us as such in accordance with our then-current naming convention (e.g. Major Release 3 -> Major Release 4).

Major Release means changes to the Licensed Software that add significant functionality or major enhancements to the Licensed Software, but which do not add additional features beyond those purchased by Customer. A Major Release to the Licensed Software may result because of a requirement change to the operating system, hardware components, or changes to other Third Party Programs. Major Releases are denoted by a change in integer or whole number of the Licensed Software (e.g. 1.0 to 2.0). Major Releases do not include new products.
