Maintenance Obligation definition

Maintenance Obligation means the ongoing and continuous obligation and duty to adequately patrol, maintain and police (that is, supervise, clean, and maintain order, but not to be required to provide regular patrolling by law enforcement officers) environmental resources in accordance with the Nantucket Beach Management Plan as the same may be amended from time to time and State and local law, and periodically to inspect the Easement Area.

  • Upon completion of the construction and installation of the Sidewalks and completion of the Maintenance Obligation, whether by DRH or the City, as certified in writing by the City’s Director of Public Works, (a) any rights of the City in and to the Letter of Credit hereunder shall terminate, and (b) the City shall promptly return the Letter of Credit to DRH.

Maintenance Obligation means a duty laid down by law – including in cases where the extent of the obligation and means of complying with it are established by a judicial decision or a contractto provide any form of maintenance or at least means of subsistence in respect of a person currently or previously linked to the debtor by a family relationship.
