Maintenance Expense definition

Maintenance Expense means all expenses related to maintenance of the Collateral performed by the Borrower which is unrelated to maintenance reserve accounting.
Maintenance Expense means routine and preventative maintenance activities that maintain and extend the equipment’s useful life. These are expensed on the income statement on an annual basis.

  • The Revenue Requirement Components shall be the sum of Connecting Transmission Owner’s (A) Return and Associated Income Taxes, (B) Transmission Related Real Estate Tax Expense, (C) Transmission Related Amortization of Investment Tax Credits, (D) Transmission Related Payroll Tax Expense (E) Transmission Operation and Maintenance Expense, (F) Transmission Related Administrative and General Expenses, less (G) Revenue Credits, plus (H) Bad Debt Expense.

More Definitions of Maintenance Expense

Maintenance Expense means all expenditures by the Big Spring Guarantor or the Trinidad Obligor on regularly scheduled (or reasonably anticipated) maintenance of the Big Spring Project or the Trinidad Project, respectively, in accordance with good utility practice and vendor and supplier requirements constituting major maintenance (including, without limitation, teardowns, overhauls, capital improvements, replacements and/or refurbishments of major components of such Project).

Related to Maintenance Expense

  • Operation and Maintenance Expenses or ‘O&M expenses' means the expenditure incurred on operation and maintenance of the project, or part thereof, and includes the expenditure on manpower, repairs, spares, consumables, insurance and overheads;

  • Maintenance Costs means parts and materials, sublet and labour costs of a qualified licensed mechanic for the maintenance of the Revenue Service Vehicles, but shall not include costs associated with interior and exterior transit advertising signs and non-mechanical servicing of Revenue Service Vehicles such as fuelling, clearing fareboxes, cleaning and painting wheel rims, vehicle washing and other work performed by a serviceman; and,

  • Operating Expense means salaries, wages, cost of maintenance and operation, materials, supplies, insurance and all other items normally included under recognized accounting practices, but does not include allowances for depreciation in the value of physical property.

  • Operating Costs means the incremental expenses incurred by the Recipient on account of Project implementation, management, and monitoring, including for office space rental, utilities, and supplies, bank charges, communications, vehicle operation, maintenance, and insurance, building and equipment maintenance, advertising expenses, travel and supervision, salaries of contractual and temporary staff, but excluding salaries, fees, honoraria, and bonuses of members of the Recipient’s civil service.

  • Operation and Maintenance Costs means the costs of:

  • Routine maintenance means activities to keep an impervious surface as near as possible to its constructed condition. This includes ordinary maintenance activities, resurfacing paved areas, and exterior building changes or improvements which do not materially increase or concentrate stormwater runoff, or cause additional nonpoint source pollution.

  • Operating Cost means the costs associated with operating a multifamily development once the project is placed in service.

  • Planned Maintenance means any Maintenance BT has planned to do in advance.

  • Insurance Expenses means any Insurance Proceeds (i) applied to the repair of the related Leased Vehicle, (ii) released to the related Lessee in accordance with applicable law or the Customary Servicing Practices or (iii) representing other related expenses incurred by the Servicer that are not otherwise included in Liquidation Expenses or Disposition Expenses and recoverable by the Servicer under any applicable Servicer Basic Documents.

  • Maintenance area means any geographic region of the United States previously designated nonattainment pursuant to the CAA Amendments of 1990 and subsequently redesignated to attainment subject to the requirement to develop a maintenance plan under §175A of the CAA, as amended.

  • Maintenance work means the repair of existing facilities when the size, type or extent of such facilities is not thereby changed or increased. While “maintenance” includes painting and decorating and is covered under the law, it does not include work such as routine landscape maintenance or janitorial services.

Preventive maintenance is conducted to keep equipment working and/or extend the life of the equipment.

  • Maintenance Adder means an adder that may be included to account for variable operation and maintenance expenses in a Market Seller’s Fuel Cost Policy. The Maintenance Adder is calculated in accordance with the applicable provisions of PJM Manual 15, and may only include expenses incurred as a result of electric production. Manual Load Dump Action:

  • Maintenance Capital Expenditure means cash expenditures (including expenditures for the construction of new capital assets or the replacement, improvement or expansion of existing capital assets) by a Group Member made to maintain, over the long term, the operating capacity or operating income of the Partnership Group. For purposes of this definition, “long term” generally refers to a period of not less than twelve months.

  • Maintenance Capital Expenditures means, for any period, the portion of the aggregate amount of all Capital Expenditures of the Borrower for such period attributable to maintenance of property, plant or equipment of the Borrower and the Restricted Subsidiaries, as determined in good faith by a Responsible Officer of the Borrower.
