Maintenance and Operation Costs definition

Maintenance and Operation Costs means the reasonable and necessary costs spent or incurred by the City for maintaining and operating the Wastewater Treatment enterprise, calculated in accordance with sound accounting principles, including the cost of supply of water, gas and electric energy under contracts or otherwise, the funding of reasonable reserves, and all reasonable and necessary expenses of management and repair and other expenses to maintain and preserve the Wastewater Treatment enterprise in good repair and working order, and including all reasonable and necessary administrative costs of the City attributable to the Wastewater Treatment enterprise and any financing instruments incurred to finance improvements to the Wastewater Treatment enterprise, such as salaries and wages and the necessary contribution to retirement of employees, overhead, insurance, taxes (if any), expenses, compensation and indemnification of any bond trustee or other lender, and fees of auditors, accountants, attorneys or engineers, and including all other reasonable and necessary costs of the City or charges required to be paid by it to comply with the terms of any financing instrument related to the Wastewater Treatment enterprise, but excluding depreciation, replacement and obsolescence charges or reserves therefor and amortization of intangibles or other bookkeeping entries of a similar nature.
Maintenance and Operation Costs means the reasonable and necessary costs and expenses paid by the Authority for maintaining and operating the Enterprise, including but not limited to the reasonable expenses of management and repair and other costs and expenses necessary to maintain and preserve the Enterprise in good repair and working order, and including but not limited to administrative costs of the Authority attributable to the Enterprise and the financing thereof, but in all cases excluding depreciation, replacement and
Maintenance and Operation Costs means costs spent or incurred by the City for maintaining and operating the Water System, calculated in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles used by the City, consistently applied, including but not limited to the expenses of maintenance, repair, billing and collection and other expenses incurred to maintain and preserve the Water System in good repair and working order, and including administrative costs of the City, salaries and wages of employees, payments to employees retirement systems, overhead, taxes (if any), fees of auditors, accountants, attorneys, engineers or other consultants and insurance premiums, in each case as attributable to the Water System, including all other reasonable and necessary costs of the City or charges required to be paid by it to comply with the terms of the Bonds, Parity Obligations, Subordinate Obligations and Fee and Expense Obligations but excluding in all cases (i) depreciation, replacement and obsolescence charges or reserves therefor, (ii) amortization of intangibles or other bookkeeping entries of a similar nature, (iii) costs of capital additions, replacements, betterments, extensions or improvements to the Water System that under generally accepted accounting principles are chargeable to a capital account or to a reserve for depreciation and (iv) charges for the payment of Bonds, Parity Obligations, Subordinate Obligations and Fee and Expense Obligations.

  • The District will pay all Maintenance and Operation Costs of the Enterprise as they become due and payable.

Maintenance and Operation Costs means all expenses, exclusive of costs of debt service, costs of capital improvements, and costs of capital replacement, incurred in the operation and maintenance of the mobile home park, including but not limited to: real estate taxes, business taxes and fees (including fees payable by park owners under this chapter), insurance, sewer service charges, utilities, janitorial services, professional property management fees, pool maintenance, exterior building and ground maintenance, supplies, equipment, refuse removal, and security services or systems.
Maintenance and Operation Costs of the Enterprise means the reasonable and necessary costs and expenses paid by the Party for maintaining and operating the Enterprise, as determined in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, including but not limited to (a) the reasonable expenses of management and repair and other costs and expenses necessary to maintain and preserve the Enterprise in good repair and working order, including the cost of water, and (b) administrative costs of the Party attributable to the Enterprise and the financing thereof; but excluding (x) depreciation, replacement and obsolescence charges or reserves therefor, (y) capital expenditures other than as set forth in subsection (a) above, and
Maintenance and Operation Costs means the reasonable and necessary costs paid or incurred by the Water District for maintaining and operating the Water System, determined in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, including all costs of water purchased for the Water System (except those costs paid from taxes), and including all reasonable expenses of management and repair and all other expenses necessary to maintain and preserve the Water System in good repair and working order, and including all administrative costs of the Water District that are charged directly or apportioned to the operation of the Water System, such as salaries and wages of employees, overhead, taxes (if any) and insurance premiums, and including all other reasonable and necessary costs of the Water District or charges required to be paid by it to comply with the terms of the Installment Purchase Contract and of any resolution authorizing the execution of any Installment Purchase Contract or of such Installment Purchase Contract or of any resolution or indenture authorizing the issuance of any Bonds or of such Bonds, such as compensation, reimbursement and indemnification of the trustee, seller or lessor for any such Installment Purchase Contracts or Bonds and fees and expenses of Independent Certified Public Accountants and Independent Engineers, but excluding in all cases depreciation, replacement and obsolescence charges or reserves therefor and amortization of intangibles.
Maintenance and Operation Costs means the reasonable and necessary costs and expenses paid by the City to maintain and operate the Wastewater System, including but not limited to (a) costs of electricity and other forms of energy supplied to the Wastewater System,(b) the reasonable expenses of management and repair and other costs and expenses necessary to maintain and preserve the Wastewater System in good repair and working order, (c) payments under any contracts, notes or leases executed in connection with the City’s acquisition of the Wastewater System or any part thereof, and (d) payment of maintenance and operation expenses for wastewater treatment. Maintenance and Operation Costs does not include (i) debt service payable on obligations incurred by the City, or for which the City is responsible in whole or in part, including but not limited to the Bonds, (ii) capital costs in excess of those, if any, required in (b) above, including payment of capital costs by the City in connection with wastewater treatment,(iii) depreciation, replacement and obsolescence charges or reserves therefor, (iv) amortization of intangibles or other bookkeeping entries of a similar nature, and (v) any overhead costs of the City to be repaid through annual transfers to the City’s General Fund.
