Main Section definition

Main Section means the balance of the fund after deducting the amount attributable to the supplementary section.
Main Section means the sub-transmission that has the largest number of forward gears in a compound transmission;
Main Section means the Section which is created pursuant to the Trust Deed and into which the assets and liabilities of each Transferring Section are transferred on Centralisation in accordance with the Trust Deed;

More Definitions of Main Section

Main Section means the terms and conditions as set out in clauses 1 to 29 of this portion of the Agreement, as distinct from those contained in any Schedule.
Main Section means the Main Section (as defined in the Trust Deed and Rules) of the Group Fund. Member has the meaning set out in the Trust Deed and Rules.

For the avoidance of doubt, where there are no Non-transferring Sections, the Rules will continue to refer to the Main Section notwithstanding that it comprises all of the assets and liabilities of the Scheme and that therefore the Scheme ceases to be a segregated scheme.
