Main proceeding definition

Main proceeding means an insolvency proceeding taking place in the State where the enterprise group member debtor has the centre of its main interests;

The term does not include a proceeding involving juvenile delinquency, contractual emancipation, or enforcement under Part 3 of this Article.

  • Formal proceedings means proceedings conducted before a judge with notice to interested persons.
