LTD Benefits definition

LTD Benefits means benefits under the Company’s long-term disability plan.
LTD Benefits means any disability benefits payable to a Member of this Plan under a long-term disability program sponsored by the Employer.
LTD Benefits has the meaning specified in Section 4.02(a).

Examples of LTD Benefits in a sentence

  • The Contribution Amount will be reduced by the amount of (i) non-pension retiree benefit claims incurred by the Company for Union Retirees on and after July 1, 2007 and (ii) any LTD Benefits incurred by the Company on behalf of Union Disableds on and after July 1, 2007.

  • On and as of the Retiree Benefit Termination Date, the Company will cease to sponsor or provide any LTD Benefits for Union Disableds, and except as otherwise provided herein, the Company shall have no obligation to provide any LTD Benefits to Union Disableds after the Retiree Benefit Termination Date.

  • The Participant's employment with the Company terminates, or, in the case of a Participant who is receiving LTD Benefits (2.2(c)), the Participant ceases to be eligible to continue to receive LTD Benefits, whichever occurs later.

  • Solely for purposes of the Participant's eligibility to commence to receive benefits at an Early Retirement Date, such Participant shall be deemed to have 15 years of Continuous Service upon the later to occur of (a) the Participant's termination of employment, or (b) the cessation of the Participant's eligibility to continue to receive LTD Benefits.

  • Notwithstanding 2.5, an Officer who becomes an Active Participant pursuant to 2.2(c), or an Active Participant or Former Active Participant who becomes disabled and eligible to receive LTD Benefits under the Company's long-term disability insurance plan, shall have a 100% Vested Accrued Benefit.

  • For purposes of calculating the Accrued Benefit pursuant to 3.1(b), the sum (in full years and months, with partial months rounded up) of all periods of an Employee's service with the Company from his or her employment date (including periods during which an Employee is receiving LTD Benefits) to the earliest to occur of the events described in 2.3 or his or her Normal Retirement Date.

  • An Officer who has not satisfied the Minimum Officer Service Requirement of 2.1(a) or the special designation requirements of 2.2(a), and who has both attained age 55 and become eligible to receive long-term disability benefits under the Company's long-term disability insurance plan (" LTD Benefits"), will become an Active Participant upon the last to occur of his or her (i) becoming eligible to receive LTD Benefits, or (ii) attainment of age 55 while receiving LTD Benefits.

  • Solely for purposes of this subsection (a), termination of employment includes the date on which a Participant begins to receive LTD Benefits.

  • If a rehabilitation program involves rehabilitative employment, the employee will continue to draw Sickness and Accident (S&A) or Long Term Disability (LTD) Benefits, as the case may be.

  • A Participant who is receiving LTD Benefits (2.7) shall become a Retired Participant, and the Plan shall commence distribution of his or her Vested Accrued Benefit, effective at the Participant’s Early, Normal, or Deferred, Retirement Date, whichever shall first occur following the later to occur of (a) the Participant's termination of employment, or (b) the cessation of the Participant's eligibility to continue to receive LTD Benefits.

Related to LTD Benefits

  • Covered benefits or “benefits” means those health care services to which a covered person is entitled under the terms of a health benefit plan.

  • Accrued Benefits shall include the following amounts, payable as described herein: (i) all base salary for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (ii) reimbursement for any and all monies advanced in connection with the Executive's employment for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Executive on behalf of the Company and its Affiliates for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (iii) any and all other cash earned through the Termination Date and deferred at the election of the Executive or pursuant to any deferred compensation plan then in effect; (iv) notwithstanding any provision of any bonus or incentive compensation plan applicable to the Executive, a lump sum amount, in cash, equal to the sum of (A) any bonus or incentive compensation that has been allocated or awarded to the Executive for a fiscal year or other measuring period under the plan that ends prior to the Termination Date but has not yet been paid (pursuant to Section 5(f) or otherwise) and (B) a pro rata portion to the Termination Date of the aggregate value of all contingent bonus or incentive compensation awards to the Executive for all uncompleted periods under the plan calculated as to each such award as if the Goals with respect to such bonus or incentive compensation award had been attained; and (v) all other payments and benefits to which the Executive (or in the event of the Executive's death, the Executive's surviving spouse or other beneficiary) may be entitled as compensatory fringe benefits or under the terms of any benefit plan of the Employer, including severance payments under the Employer's severance policies and practices in the form most favorable to the Executive that were in effect at any time during the 180-day period prior to the Effective Date. Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • Vested Benefits means amounts that are vested or that Executive is otherwise entitled to receive, without the performance by Executive of further services or the resolution of a contingency, under the terms of or in accordance with any investment and savings plan or retirement plan (including any plan providing retiree medical benefits) of the Company or its affiliates, and any ERPs or ESPs related thereto, and any deferred compensation or employee stock purchase plan or similar plan or program of the Company or its affiliates.

  • Severance Benefits mean the payment of severance compensation as provided in Section 2.3 herein.

  • Employment benefits means all benefits provided or made

  • Medical Benefits means medical, optical, or dental benefits, including, but not limited to, hospital and physician services, prescription drugs, and related benefits.

  • Health Benefits means health maintenance organization, insured or self-funded medical, dental, vision, prescription drug and behavioral health benefits.

  • Extended benefits means benefits, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to ex-servicemen under 5 U.S.C. Chapter 85, payable to an individual under the provisions of this section for weeks of unemployment in his eligibility period.

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Termination Benefits means the benefits described in Section 4.1(b).

  • Gap medical benefits means the benefits (if any) payable in respect of medical expenses that are less than, greater than or equal to the schedule fee, provided always that the medical expenses relate to a professional service that:

  • Disability benefits means any cash payments which are payable to a covered individual for all or part of a period of disability pursuant to P.L.1948, c.110 (C.43:21-25 et al.).

  • Change in Control Benefits means the following benefits:

  • Separation Benefits has the meaning accorded such term in Section 3.04.

  • Severance Pay means any amount that is payable in cash and is identified by a Participating Company as severance pay, or any amount which is payable on account of periods beginning after the last date on which an employee (or former employee) is required to report for work for a Participating Company.

  • Severance Benefit means the payment of severance compensation as provided in Article III.

  • Change in Control Severance Benefits means the benefits payable pursuant to Section 3 of this Agreement.

  • Compensation and Benefits Programs means all compensation and benefit plans, policies, and programs of the Debtors, and all amendments and modifications thereto, applicable to the Debtors’ employees, former employees, retirees, and non-employee directors and the employees, former employees and retirees of their subsidiaries, including all savings plans, retirement plans, health care plans, disability plans, and incentive plans, deferred compensation plans, and life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance plans.

  • Fringe benefits means the amount of:

  • Benefits as defined in Section 3.1(b).

  • Excepted benefits means benefits under one or more (or any combination thereof) of the following:

  • Severance Compensation means the compensation set forth in (i), (ii), and (iv) above.

  • Regular benefits ’ means benefits payable to an individual under this act or under any other state law, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to ex-servicemen pursuant to 5 U.S.C. chapter 85, other than extended benefits.

  • Welfare Benefits means the types of benefits described in Section 3(1) of ERISA (whether or not covered by ERISA).

  • Severance Payments shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.1 hereof.

  • Accrued Benefit means the amount standing in a Participant's Account(s) as of any date derived from both Employer contributions and Employee contributions, if any.
