Lower Basin definition

Lower Basin means those parts of the States of Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah within and from which waters naturally drain into the Colorado River System below Xxx Xxxxx, and also all parts of said States located without the drainage area of the Colorado River System which are now or shall hereafter be beneficially served by waters diverted from the Colorado River System below Xxx Xxxxx.
Lower Basin has the meaning given the term in Article II(g) of the Colorado River Compact, 1922, as approved by Congress in the Act of December 21, 1928 (45 Stat. 1057) and by Presidential Proclamation of June 25, 1929 (46 Stat. 3000).
Lower Basin means the ‘Lower Basin’ as defined in Article II(g) of the Colorado River Compact.
