Location-Based Services definition

Location-Based Services. ("LBS") means computer software and data and methodologies that store, use and manipulate information relating to the location of an electronic or other information device.
Location-Based Services means services involving determining or assisting in the determination of (including calculating, correlating, verifying, assisting, augmenting, correcting, and/or estimating) location, distance, positioning, and/or navigation, and/or any use or provision of any such information or determinations (and any derivatives of any of the foregoing).
Location-Based Services are services that access or use the User’s current location information as provided by the AT&T network or directly from the mobile device.

More Definitions of Location-Based Services

Location-Based Services shall refer to all or any of the following TRiLOC’s tools that may enable the ability to locate and/or track a TRiLOC device (with a valid Service plan), namely: (i) Software; (ii) Application for smartphone or other mobile device; (iii) the Services; and (iii) TRiLOC’s Website.

  • Finished Services means complete end-to-end services offered by CenturyLink to wholesale customers or retail End User Customers. Finished Services do not include Unbundled Network Elements or combinations of Unbundled Network Elements. Finished Services include Access Services, private lines, retail services, and resold services.

Based on the Location Routing Number, the querying Carrier then routes the call to the Switch serving the ported number. The term "LRN" may also be used to refer to a method of LNP.
