Local Mental Health Authority definition

Local Mental Health Authority means a county legislative body.
Local Mental Health Authority or “LMHA” means one of the following entities:
Local Mental Health Authority or “LMHA” means the county court or board of county commissioners of one or more counties that operate a community mental health and developmental disability program, or in the case of a Native American reservation, the tribal council, or if the county declines to operate or contract for all or part of a community mental health and developmental disability program, the board of directors of a public or private corporation.
