Local funds definition

Local funds means funds under the control or in the cus- tody of any local government or local official that are not required to meet current expenditures or demands.

Local funds means funds provided by any city, county, or entity (public or private) for performance of the Work and includes in-kind contribution.

Local funds means locally generated revenues and revenues received pursuant to Section 702(a) of the Covenant.

Examples of Local funds in a sentence

• A school district complies with this section for purposes of establishing the school district's eligibility for an award for a fiscal year if the district budgets, for the education of students with disabilities, at least the same total or per capita amount from either of the following sources as the district spent for that purpose from the same source for the most recent prior year for which information is available: (1) Local funds only; or (2) The combination of state and local funds.
