Load Zone definition

Load Zone means any one of the three reliability regions identified on ISO New England’s website for Massachusetts as defined by ISO New England, as may be amended from time-to- time.
Load Zone means the New York Independent System Operator load zone applied to the Utility Service Location by the Utility as determined by the New York Independent System Operator. You agree to take all necessary steps and provide all information and documentation required under the Program to substitute your new service location for the Utility Service Location identified in this Agreement. We shall update the Membership Information List, which may take up to ninety (90) days. After the Utility has verified eligibility and accepted the updated Membership Information List, you will continue to receive Bill Credits in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. We shall update Appendix A with your new Utility Service Location, without the need for additional consent or signature. You acknowledge that if the Utility Service Location or any new service location does not comply with Program or Utility requirements, you will not be able to receive Bill Credits and we may terminate this Agreement under Section 10(h).
Load Zone shall refer to the load zones used in ISO-NE for the purpose of the FCM and for settlement of load obligations in the Day-Ahead Energy Market.

Examples of Load Zone in a sentence

  • A single LBMP Load Zone or set of adjacent LBMP Load Zones within one Transmission District within which a minimum level of Installed Capacity must be maintained.

  • Capacity Region shall mean one of four subsets of the Installed Capacity statewide markets comprised of (1) Rest of State (i.e., Load Zones A through F); (2) Lower Xxxxxx Valley (i.e., Load Zones G, H and I); (3) New York City (i.e., Load Zone J); and (4) Long Island (i.e., Load Zone K) , except for Class Year Interconnection Facility Studies conducted prior to Class Year 2012, for which “Capacity Region” shall be defined as set forth in Section 25.7.3 of Attachment S to the ISO OATT.

  • In no event shall an LSE be eligible to purchase new Non-Historic Fixed Price TCCs with a Point of Withdrawal in a Load Zone for which the number of Grandfathered TCCs, Grandfathered Rights, Non-Historic and Historic Fixed Price TCCs held by or on behalf of the LSE with a Point of Withdrawal in that Load Zone equals or exceeds the average hourly load of the LSE in that Load Zone.

  • The ISO may limit the availability of Non-Historic Fixed Price TCCs for initial purchase, by Load Zone, based on each LSE’s average hourly load in that Load Zone and number of Grandfathered Rights and TCCs, Historic Fixed Price TCCs and other Non-Historic Fixed Price TCCs with POWs in that Load Zone held by or on behalf of the LSE.


More Definitions of Load Zone

Load Zone means a geographic area established by the ISO from which the ISO derives aggregated data of MW-Hour net energy for load, and for which the ISO publishes prices used for settlement purposes. The applicable Load Zone(s) for Seller’s account(s) are set forth in Delivery Points, Table 1, and are defined in Appendix G, Sample Sales Confirmation, Delivery Points, Table 1.
Load Zone. A group of Electrical Buses assigned to the same zone under Section 3.4, of the ERCOT Nodal Protocols. Every Electrical Bus in ERCOT with a Load must be assigned to a Load Zone for Settlement purposes. A NOIE Load Zone is a type of Load Zone.
Load Zone refers to a defined area within the operational area of the ISO. For purposes of this agreement, the relevant load zone is the State of Connecticut.
Load Zone means a group of load registered facilities that have been grouped by the PSO for the purpose of maintaining the security of the power system;
