Live Entertainment definition

Live Entertainment means a vocal or instrumental performance by a natural person(s) who is physically present in the establishment while delivering the performance and specifically excludes disc jockeys and karaoke performances.

Live Entertainment means music that is performed at the Premises by musicians, singers or other performers.

Live Entertainment means any one or more of any of the following, performed live by one or more persons, whether or not done for compensation and whether or not admission is charged: (1) musical act (including karaoke); (2) theatrical act (including stand-up comedy); (3) play; (4) revue; (5) dance; (6) magic act; (7) disc jockey; or (8) similar activity. Of note the definition of “Live Entertainment” is subject to change depending on any revisions or amendments to the Zoning Code of the City. “Live entertainment” does not include adult entertainment, as defined by the Adult Entertainment rules promulgated by this Board.

Live Entertainment means the presentation of amplified live music or theme shows. This term does not cover any business that falls within the definition of an adult characterized business as covered in Douglas County Code Chapter

Live Entertainment means entertainment for the benefit of patrons which is carried on in the actual physical presence of such patrons, including, but not limited to dancing.

Live Entertainment means “any activity provided for pleasure, enjoyment, recreation, relaxation, diversion or other similar purpose by a person or persons who are physically present when providing that activity to a patron or group of patrons who are physically present.” NRS 368A.090(1). Certain exceptions apply. See NRS 368A.090(2).

Live Entertainment means entertainment provided by or more professionals and utilizing sound amplification equipment, but no including a single vocalist or piano player with a microphone, karaoke or open-mike amateur type performances and not including adult uses.
