Litigation definition

Litigation means any action, suit or proceeding before any court, mediator, arbitrator or Governmental Authority.
Litigation means any lawsuit, action, arbitration, administrative or other proceeding, criminal prosecution or governmental investigation or inquiry.
Litigation has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 3.13.

Examples of Litigation in a sentence

  • Each investor who purchases Litigation Support Shares in the Offering shall be deemed a member of both Litigants.

  • In the case of any purchase of Litigation Support Shares described in this section 8, the purchase price of the Litigation Support Shares shall be equal to the capital account associated with such Litigation Support Shares, which shall be paid by wire transfer or other immediately available funds at closing, which shall be held within sixty (60) days following written notice from the Company.

  • For each Litigation Support Share offered and sold in the Offering, AHP 2015 A+ shall be deemed to have offered and sold one-quarter (25%) of a Litigation Support Share and AHP Servicing shall be deemed to have offered and sold three-quarters (75%) of a Litigation Support Share.

  • If you are neither a citizen or a resident (green card) of the United States, then (i) the offer and sale of Litigation Support Shares is lawful in the country of your residence, and (ii) the Companies are not required to register or file any reports or documents with the country of your residence.


More Definitions of Litigation

Litigation as used herein shall include administrative enforcement actions brought by governmental agencies. The Grantee must also disclose any material litigation threatened or pending involving Subcontractors, consultants, and/or lobbyists. For purposes of this section, “material” refers, but is not limited, to any action or pending action that a reasonable person knowledgeable in the applicable industry would consider relevant to the Work under the Grant Agreement or any development such a person would want to be aware of in order to stay fully apprised of the total mix of information relevant to the Work, together with any litigation threatened or pending that may result in a substantial change in the Grantee’s financial condition.
Litigation means any proceeding, claim, lawsuit, arbitration, and/or ---------- investigation by or before any Tribunal, including, without limitation, proceedings, claims, lawsuits, and/or investigations under or pursuant to any environmental, occupational, safety and health, antitrust, unfair competition, securities, Tax or other Law, or under or pursuant to any contract, agreement or other instrument.

Litigation means any action, arbitration, cause of action, claim, complaint, criminal prosecution, demand letter, governmental or other examination or investigation, hearing, inquiry, administrative or other proceeding, or notice (written or oral) by any Person alleging potential Liability or requesting information relating to or affecting a Party, its business, its Assets (including Contracts related to it), or the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, but shall not include regular, periodic examinations of depository institutions and their Affiliates by Regulatory Authorities.
Litigation shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.6.
