Literary Property definition

Literary Property means all general intangibles and rights in copyright and all other rights of every kind and nature (including, without limitation, copyrights) now or hereafter acquired by the Borrower under all Chain-of-Title Documents, the Teleplays, and any other literary, musical, dramatic or other literary material of any kind or nature upon which, in whole or in part, the Series is or may be based, or from which it is or may be adapted or inspired or which may be or has been used or included in the Series including, without limitation, all scripts, scenarios, screenplays, bibles, stories, treatments, novels, outlines, books, titles, concepts, manuscripts or other properties or materials of any kind or nature in whatever state of completion and all drafts, versions and variations thereof.
Literary Property shall have the meaning specified in paragraph 4.1.1.1.
Literary Property shall have the meaning specified in Article 1.1.1 (a).

Examples of Literary Property in a sentence

  • Any time after the occurrence of such a claim and/or litigation until the expiration of the option period, as extended, PGE may, besides any other rights and remedies PGE may have in the Literary Property, rescind this agreement and in such event, despite anything else to the contrary contained herein, the Seller agrees to repay PGE any monies paid by PGE to the Seller hereunder concerning the Literary Property and any reasonable amounts expended by PGE in developing or exploiting the Literary Property.

  • If it will be necessary under the laws of any country that copyright registration be acquired in the name of the Seller, PGE is authorized by the Seller to apply for said copyright registration thereof; and, in such event, the Seller will and does assign and transfer the same unto PGE, subject to the rights in the Literary Property reserved hereunder by the Seller.

  • Nothing herein will be construed to obligate PGE to produce, distribute, release, perform or exhibit any motion picture, television, theatrical or other production based upon, adapted from or suggested by the Literary Property, in whole or in part, or otherwise to exercise, exploit or make any use of any rights, licenses, privileges or property granted herein to PGE.

  • The Seller acknowledges that PGE may, at its own expense, during the Initial Option Period, undertake pre-production activities in connection with any of the rights to be acquired hereunder including, without limitation, the preparation and submission of treatments and/or screenplays based on the Literary Property.

  • The Seller agrees to execute and procure any other and further instruments necessary to transfer, convey, assign and copyright all rights in the Literary Property granted herein by the Seller to PGE in any country throughout the world.


More Definitions of Literary Property

Literary Property has the meaning as set forth in Schedule I (b).
Literary Property means all rights of Debtor of every kind and nature, including, without limitation, copyright, in and to any or all literary, musical, dramatic or other literary material of any kind or nature upon which, in whole or in part, the Property is or may be based, or from which the Property is or may be adapted or inspired or which may be or has been used or included in the Property, including, without limitation, all scripts, scenarios, screenplays, bibles, stories, treatments, novels, outlines, books, titles, concepts, characters, manuscripts or other properties or materials or any kind or nature in whatever state of completion and all drafts, versions and variations thereof.
Literary Property means all of Borrower's rights, if any, in and to the rights of every kind and nature (including, without limitation, copyrights) in and to the screenplay referred to in the chain of title documents and any other literary, musical, dramatic or other literary material of any kind or nature upon which, in whole or in part, the Series is or may be based, or from which it is or may be adapted or inspired or which may be or has been used or included in the Series including, without limitation, all scripts, scenarios, screenplays, bibles, stories, treatments, novels, outlines, books, titles, concepts, manuscripts or other properties or materials of any kind or nature in whatever state of completion and all drafts, versions and variations thereof.
Literary Property means the literary and musical material upon which, in whole or in part, any Film is based, or which has been used or included in any Film, including, without limitation, the screenplay, and all other scripts, scenarios, stories, treatments, movies, outlines, titles, concepts, manuscripts, recorded music scores and lead sheets or other properties or materials of any kind or nature, in whatever state of completion and all drafts, versions and variations thereof.

Literary Property means the literary and musical material upon which, in whole or in part, any Film is based, or which has been used or included in any Film, including, without limitation, the screenplay, and all other scripts, scenarios, stories, treatments, movies, outlines, titles, concepts, manuscripts, recorded music scores, soundtracks and lead sheets or other properties or materials of any kind or nature, in whatever state of completion and all drafts, versions and variations thereof.
Literary Property means all rights of every kind and nature (including, without limitation, copyrights), throughout the universe, in and to the literary and musical material upon which, in whole or in part, any of the Library or Film Asset is or may be based, or which may be or has been used or included in the Library or Film Asset, including, without limitation, the screenplay and all other scripts, scenarios, bibles, stories, treatments, novels, outlines, books, titles, concepts, manuscripts or other properties or materials of any kind or nature, in whatever state of completion and all drafts, versions and variations thereof.
