Liquid Residuals definition

Liquid Residuals means residuals which are pumpable with conventional pumping equipment and which cannot be handled using solids handling equipment. Liquid residuals do not include process wastewaters.
Liquid Residuals means any residuals that are less than 12% solids by weight, or that are determined to contain free liquids as defined by Method 9095 (Paint Filter Liquids Test), as described in "Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Wastes, Physical/ Chemical Methods" (EPA Pub. No. SW-846), which is incorporated here by reference.

  • Net concentration means the difference between the concentration of a given substance in a sample taken of the discharge and the concentration of the same substances in a sample taken at the intake which supplies water to the given process. For the purpose of this definition, samples that are taken to determine the net concentration shall always be 24-hour composite samples made up of at least six increments taken at regular intervals throughout the plant day.
