Linked Stock definition

Linked Stock means the shares or the units specified as such in the Confirmation.
Linked Stock means the stock or unit of the Listed Entity specified as such in the Term Sheet.
Linked Stock means, subject to adjustment in accordance with Condition 6, the securities (which may be shares of a company or units of a fund (being an exchange traded fund or a real estate investment trust)) specified as such in the applicable Term Sheet which are listed on the Exchange and quoted in HKD or RMB and related expressions shall be construed accordingly and all the Linked Stocks together, the “Basket”, and each series of ELI shall only have the maximum number of ten Linked Stocks in the Basket and a minimum of two Linked Stocks in the Basket;

Examples of Linked Stock in a sentence

  • You will suffer a loss as the Closing Price of the Linked Stock as of the Valuation Date is lower than the Put Strike Price, and therefore the market value of the Stock Amount (calculated based on the Closing Price of the Linked Stock on the Valuation Date) is less than the Purchase Price.

  • In the worst case, if the market price of the Linked Stock remains at zero till the Settlement Date, you will lose all of your investment.

  • The Linked Stock will be shares of a company or units of a fund (being an exchange-traded fund or a real estate investment trust) listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “Exchange”) and traded in an Underlying Currency of either HKD or RMB.

  • The Autocall Price of each Linked Stock is set as a percentage of its Initial Price, as specified in the relevant Term Sheet and will be the same for each Autocall Determination Date.

  • You should note that the Initial Price of a Linked Stock may either be (i) the Closing Price of such Linked Stock on the Trade Date; or (ii) the market spot price of such Linked Stock as agreed between the Issuer and you (through your distributor) at the time of your application on the Trade Date and your purchase order will be executed at such agreed price.

  • The Linked Stock in the Stock Basket with the lowest Performance on a Scheduled Trading Day will be the Worst Performing Stock for that Scheduled Trading Day.

  • Both the Knock-in Price and the Put Strike Price of each Linked Stock are set as a percentage of its Initial Price as specified in the relevant Term Sheet.

  • You will be exposed to the market risk of holding the Linked Stock if you choose not to sell the Stock Amount on the Settlement Date.

  • You should note that the Initial Price may either be (i) the Closing Price of the Linked Stock on the Trade Date; or (ii) the market spot price of the Linked Stock as agreed between the Issuer and you (through the distributor) at the time of your application on the Trade Date and your purchase order will be executed at such agreed price.

  • The Daily Autocall Feature will be triggered on an Autocall Determination Date if the Closing Price of the Linked Stock is at or above the Autocall Price on such Autocall Determination Date, which is set as each Scheduled Trading Day (excluding any Disrupted Day) during the period from and including the date as specified in the relevant Term Sheet, which is on or after the Issue Date, to but excluding the Valuation Date (i.e. an Autocall Period).


More Definitions of Linked Stock

Linked Stock means the shares or other securities specified as such in the related Confirmation.

Related to Linked Stock

  • Excluded Stock and Stock Equivalents means (i) any Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents with respect to which, in the reasonable judgment of the Administrative Agent and the Borrower (as agreed to in writing), the cost or other consequences of pledging such Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents in favor of the Secured Parties under the Security Documents shall be excessive in view of the benefits to be obtained by the Lenders therefrom, (ii) solely in the case of any pledge of Capital Stock and Stock Equivalents of any Foreign Subsidiary or any CFC Holding Company, any Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents of any class of such Foreign Subsidiary or CFC Holding Company in excess of 65% of the outstanding Capital Stock of such class, (iii) any Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents to the extent the pledge thereof would violate any applicable Requirements of Law (including any legally effective requirement to obtain the consent of any Governmental Authority unless such consent has been obtained), (iv) in the case of (A) any Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents of any Subsidiary to the extent such Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents are subject to a Lien permitted by clause (ix) of the definition of Permitted Lien or (B) any Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents of any Subsidiary that is not a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries at the time such Subsidiary becomes a Subsidiary, any Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents of each such Subsidiary described in clause (A) or (B) to the extent (I) that a pledge thereof to secure the Obligations is prohibited by any applicable Contractual Requirement and other than proceeds thereof the assignment of which is expressly deemed effective under the Uniform Commercial Code or other applicable law notwithstanding such prohibition or restriction), (II) any Contractual Requirement prohibits such a pledge without the consent of any other party; provided that this clause (II) shall not apply if (x) such other party is a Credit Party or Wholly-Owned Subsidiary or (y) consent has been obtained to consummate such pledge (it being understood that the foregoing shall not be deemed to obligate the Borrower or any Subsidiary to obtain any such consent) and for so long as such Contractual Requirement or replacement or renewal thereof is in effect, or (III) a pledge thereof to secure the Obligations would give any other party (other than a Credit Party or Wholly-Owned Subsidiary) to any contract, agreement, instrument, or indenture governing such Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents the right to terminate its obligations thereunder and other than proceeds thereof the assignment of which is expressly deemed effective under the Uniform Commercial Code or other applicable law notwithstanding such prohibition or restriction), (v) any Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents of any Subsidiary to the extent that the pledge of such Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents would result in materially adverse tax consequences to the Borrower or any Subsidiary as reasonably determined by the Borrower in consultation with the Administrative Agent, (vi) any Capital Stock or Stock Equivalents that are margin stock, and (vii) any Capital Stock and Stock Equivalents of any Subsidiary that is not a Material Subsidiary or is an Unrestricted Subsidiary, a captive insurance Subsidiary, an SPV or any special purpose entity.

  • Excluded Stock means:

  • Equity Stock means all classes or series of capital stock of the Company authorized under the Charter, including, without limit, its common stock, $.001 par value per share, and preferred stock, $.001 par value per share.

  • Equivalent Preferred Stock shall have the meaning set forth in Section 11(b) hereof.

  • Preferred Stock Equivalents shall have the meaning set forth in Section 11(b) hereof.

  • Equivalent Shares means Preferred Shares and any other class or series of capital stock of the Company which is entitled to the same rights, privileges and preferences as the Preferred Shares.

  • Phantom means a volume of material behaving in a manner similar to tissue with respect to the attenuation and scattering of radiation. This requires that both the atomic number (Z) and the density of the material be similar to that of tissue.

  • Stock Appreciation Right or “SAR” means a right to receive the appreciation on Common Stock that is granted pursuant to the terms and conditions of Section 5.

  • Common Shares means the common shares in the capital of the Company;

  • Tandem Stock Appreciation Right means the right to surrender to the Company all (or a portion) of a Stock Option in exchange for an amount in cash and/or stock equal to the difference between (i) the Fair Market Value on the date such Stock Option (or such portion thereof) is surrendered, of the Common Stock covered by such Stock Option (or such portion thereof), and (ii) the aggregate exercise price of such Stock Option (or such portion thereof).

  • Ordinary Shares Equivalents means any securities of the Company or the Subsidiaries which would entitle the holder thereof to acquire at any time Ordinary Shares, including, without limitation, any debt, preferred stock, right, option, warrant or other instrument that is at any time convertible into or exercisable or exchangeable for, or otherwise entitles the holder thereof to receive, Ordinary Shares.

  • Limited Stock Appreciation Right means an Award of a limited Tandem Stock Appreciation Right or a Non-Tandem Stock Appreciation Right made pursuant to Section 7.5 of this Plan.

  • Company Preferred Stock means the preferred stock, par value $0.0001 per share, of the Company.

  • New Preferred Stock means the Convertible Series A Preferred Stock and the Series B Preferred Stock.

  • Stock means, with respect to any corporation, capital stock and, with respect to any other entity, any equity interest.

  • CONCURRENT STOCK APPRECIATION RIGHT or "CONCURRENT RIGHT" means a right granted pursuant to subsection 8(b)(2) of the Plan.

  • Common Stock Equivalent means any Convertible Security or warrant, option or other right to subscribe for or purchase any Additional Shares of Common Stock or any Convertible Security.

  • Senior Preferred Stock means the Series A Preferred Stock and the Series B Preferred Stock.

  • Capital Shares Equivalents means any securities, rights, or obligations that are convertible into or exchangeable for or give any right to subscribe for any Capital Shares of the Company or any warrants, options or other rights to subscribe for or purchase Capital Shares or any such convertible or exchangeable securities.

  • Stock Appreciation Rights Agreement means a written agreement between the Company and a Holder with respect to an Award of Stock Appreciation Rights.

  • Parent Preferred Stock means the preferred stock, par value $0.01 per share, of Parent.

  • Dividend Shares means the shares of Common Stock issuable in payment of dividends payable on the Preferred Shares in accordance with the terms of the Certificate of Designation.
