Licensed Standards definition

Licensed Standards means (i) with respect to the licenses granted to SpecCo or the SpecCo Licensees, as applicable, hereunder, the AgCo Licensed Standards and (ii) with respect to the licenses granted to AgCo or the AgCo Licensees, as applicable hereunder, the SpecCo Licensed Standards.
Licensed Standards means 2G Licensed Standards, 3G Licensed Standards, 4G Licensed Standards, and other standards currently or subsequently promulgated by standards setting organizations such as ETSI, 3GPP, 3GPP2, IEEE, ARIB, OMA, ITU-T, and IETF.
Licensed Standards mean the following PHS, PDC, iDen, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, IS-54/136, DECT, TETRA, W-CDMA (FDD and TDD), XXXXXXX, XXXX0000 [including 1x, EV-DV, EV-DO], and similar standards adopted on a regional basis (e.g. ARIB FDD), each as amended from time to time.   • Without limiting the foregoing, the grant in this Section 2.4 includes a right and license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, adapt, modify and create derivative works of the AgCo Licensed Standards by and among the Authorized Users only for the licensed uses set forth in this Section 2.4.

  • Licensee shall not, and shall cause its Affiliates to not, apply to register or maintain any application or registration of any intellectual property right in the Licensed Standards or ORDs.

  • As between Licensor on the one hand, and Licensee and its Affiliates on the other, Licensor shall have the sole right and discretion to bring infringement or other actions to enforce its rights in the Licensed Standards, and Licensor shall be solely entitled to retain all monetary recovery from such proceedings by way of judgment, settlement or otherwise.

  • Licensor shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Licensee, its Affiliates, and each of its and their members, officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any Losses to the extent arising out of or result from: (i) any breach of this Agreement by Licensor; or (ii) any Third Party claim that of the Licensed Standards infringes, misappropriates or violates the intellectual property rights of any Third Party.

  • Licensee shall reproduce, and shall cause its Affiliates to reproduce, any notices of copyright included in the Licensed Standards on any publication by Licensee or its Affiliates of the Licensed Standards.

  • The Licensor shall in no event be held responsible for the quality of the product and on no account be liable for any damages that may result from utilization of the Licensed Standards contained in the product.

  • Licensee shall notify Licensor of any unauthorized use of any of the Licensed Standards by others promptly as it comes to Licensee’s or any of its Affiliates’ attention.

Related to Licensed Standards

  • Technical Standards means the technical standards set out in paragraph 2.5 of the Order Form;

  • Quality Standards means the quality standards published by BSI British Standards, the National Standards Body of the United Kingdom, the International Organisation for Standardisation or other reputable or equivalent body, (and their successor bodies) that a skilled and experienced operator in the same type of industry or business sector as the Contractor would reasonably and ordinarily be expected to comply with, and as may be further detailed in the Specification.

  • Safety Standards means all laws, union rules and trade or industry custom or codes of any kind whatsoever, in effect from the date of this Agreement through Final Acceptance of the construction work, pertaining to worker safety and accident prevention applicable to the Project and/or the construction work (including, but not limited to, rules, regulations and standards adopted pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended from time to time).

  • Applicable Standards means the requirements and guidelines of NERC, the Applicable Regional Entity, and the Control Area in which the Customer Facility is electrically located; the PJM Manuals; and Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards.

  • Reliability Standards means the criteria, standards, rules and requirements relating to reliability established by a Standards Authority.

  • Privacy Standards means the standards of the privacy of individually identifiable health information, as pursuant to HIPAA.

  • Codes and Standards means all the applicable codes and standards as indicated in the Technical Specification.

  • Security Standards means the final rule implementing HIPAA’s Security Standards for the Protection of Electronic PHI, as amended.

  • Specifications and Standards means the specifications and standards relating to the quality, quantity, capacity and other requirements for the Project Highway, as set forth in Schedule-D, and any modifications thereof, or additions thereto, as included in the design and engineering for the Project Highway submitted by the Contractor to, and expressly approved by, the Authority;

  • Licensed Nurse means an Oregon licensed practical or registered nurse.

  • Licensed Process means a method, procedure, process, or other subject matter whose practice or use is Covered By any claim or claims included within the Patent Rights or uses Technology Rights.
