Level of competence definition

Level of competence means a hierarchical position that an individual occupies within a field or profession relative to other practitioners in the profession.

  • Cultural Competence means the ability to recognize and respond to health-related beliefs and cultural values, disease incidence and prevalence, and treatment efficacy.
