Employees will have access to appropriate learning and development opportunities as determined by the Commission, during work time, to develop the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties, to complete mandatory training necessary to their role and address their identified and agreed development needs. Employees will be provided with work time to develop their skills and knowledge in accordance with their Commission or APS career aspirations as identified in their performance agreement.
Learning and Development. 39.2 When an employee is required by the City to acquire, maintain, or improve his/her skills or qualifications, course costs will be reimbursed in accordance with the City’s Learning and Development Policy.
