Learn and Develop. As a community, we develop an under- standing of each other’s differences and realization of similarities, because understanding is the first step towards equity. We learn that these differences do not undermine our ability to work, study, and live together.   • Land development means the erection of buildings or structures on land, or the change of use of land, including township establishment, the subdivision or consolidation of land or any deviation from the land use or uses permitted in terms of an applicable land use scheme;

  • Substantial development means any development of which the total cost or fair market value exceeds two thousand five hundred dollars, or any development which materially interferes with the normal public use of the water or shorelines of the state; except that the following shall not be considered substantial developments for the purpose of this chapter:

  • authorised development means the development and associated development described in Schedule 1 and any other development authorised by this Order, which is development within the meaning of section 32 of the 2008 Act;

  • Commercial Development means any development on private land that is not heavy industrial or residential.
