Last Day of Employment definition

Last Day of Employment means the date of Participant’s Termination of Employment.
Last Day of Employment means the date that Participant is no longer actively employed with the Company Group and will not be extended by any notice period mandated under local law (e.g., employment would not include a period ofgarden leave” or similar period pursuant to local law). The Committee shall have the exclusive discretion to determine when the Participant is no longer actively employed with the Company Group for purposes of his or her Performance Share grant.
Last Day of Employment means the last day of notice by either party, which could be later than the last period of duty. An employee will be paid up to (and in some cases beyond) this date, depending on their entitlements.

More Definitions of Last Day of Employment

Last Day of Employment means the later of (x) Executive’s last day actually worked and (y) the end of the period of notice, if any, required by the ESA.

Related to Last Day of Employment

  • Date of Employment means the first day an Employee performs an Hour of Service.

  • Period of Employment shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Employment Date means the first date as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service, provided that, in the case of a Break in Service, the Employment Date shall be the first date thereafter as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service.

  • Length of Employment means the period of time since an employee last became a full-time or part-time employee in a permanent or term position for purposes of calculating all entitlements pursuant to this Agreement including, but not limited to, vacation, bonus vacation and pre-retirement leave and “Length of Service” shall have a similar meaning. Conversion from full-time or part-time status to casual status shall be considered a break in service and no period of casual employment or prior full-time or part-time employment in a permanent or term position shall be included in an employee’s length of employment or length of service even when a casual employee subsequently becomes a full-time or part-time employee.

  • Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2.

  • Year of Employment means a period of service of 12 months.

  • Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.

  • Termination of Employment means that the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, other than by reason of a leave of absence approved by the Company.

  • Employment Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2.01.

  • Involuntary Termination of Employment means the Termination of Service by the Company or Subsidiary other than a termination for Cause, or termination of employment by a Participant Employee for Good Reason.

  • Employment Termination means the effective date of: (i) Executive’s voluntary termination of employment with the Company with Good Reason, or (ii) the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Good Cause.

  • Consulting Period has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 14(f) hereof.

  • Scope of employment means performance by an employee acting in good faith within the duties of the employee’s office or employment or of tasks lawfully assigned by a competent authority including the operation or use of an agency vehicle or equipment with actual or implied consent of the supervisor of the employee, but shall not include corruption or fraud;

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of an occurrence of a Change of Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the date which is one and one-half years following the occurrence of the Change of Control, and (ii) the Executive's death.

  • Severance Term means the six (6) month period following Employee’s termination by the Company without Just Cause (other than by reason of death or Disability) or by Employee for Good Reason; provided, that if such termination occurs within twelve (12) months following a Change in Control, the Severance Term shall be the twelve (12) month period following such termination.

  • Post-Employment Period is defined in Section 8.2.

  • Employment Term has the meaning specified in Section 2.

  • Self-employment shall be where a Claimant sets up his/her own business and is responsible for paying his/her tax and National Insurance.

  • Date of Termination means the date of receipt of the Notice of Termination or any later date specified therein, as the case may be; provided, however, that (i) if the Executive's employment is terminated by the Company other than for Cause or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date on which the Company notifies the Executive of such termination and (ii) if the Executive's employment is terminated by reason of death or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date of death of the Executive or the Disability Effective Date, as the case may be.

  • Severance from Service Date means the earlier of:

  • Severance Date means the date on which an Eligible Employee incurs a Severance.

  • Employment Commencement Date means the date on which the Employee first performs an Hour of Service.

  • Place of employment means an enclosed area under the control of a public or private employer that employees normally frequent during the course of employment, including, but not limited to, work areas, private offices, employee lounges, restrooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms, classrooms, employee cafeterias, hallways, and vehicles. A private residence is not a "place of employment" unless it is used as a child care, adult day care, or health care facility;

  • Retirement Date means the date as of which a Participant retires for reasons other than Total and Permanent Disability, whether such retirement occurs on a Participant's Normal Retirement Date or Late Retirement Date (see Section 6.1).
