Landing strip definition

Landing strip means an area, either of land or water, which is available for the landing and take‑off of aircraft having not less than one hundred feet of usable width and not less than one thousand feet of usable length, the use of which shall, except in case of emergency, be only as provided from time to time by the regulations of the division;
