Labor Code definition

Labor Code means the Borrower’s labor code adopted on March 21, 1986 (State Gazettes No. 26 of April 1, 1986, and No. 27 of April 4, 1986) and amended on February 12, 2003 (State Gazette No. 18 of February 25, 2003);
Labor Code means the French Labor Code.

  • Labor laws means the following labor laws and E.O.s:

  • Data Protection Act means Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.

  • Medical leave means leave of up to a total of 12 workweeks in a 12-month period because of an employee’s own serious health condition that makes the employee unable to work at all or unable to perform any one or more of the essential functions of the position of that employee.   • IT Act means the (Indian) Income-tax Act, 1961, as may be amended or supplemented from time to time together (including any successor provisions or re- enactments thereof) with all applicable bye-laws, rules, regulations, circulars, guidelines, notifications, orders, ordinances, policies, directions and the like issued thereunder, as may be amended or modified from time to time.

  • Data Protection Laws means EU Data Protection Laws and, to the extent applicable, the data protection or privacy laws of any other country;

  • EU Data Protection Laws means EU Directive 95/46/EC, as transposed into domestic legislation of each Member State and as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time, including by the GDPR and laws implementing or supplementing the GDPR;

  • Data Protection Law means the applicable legislation protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of persons and their right to privacy with regard to the processing of Personal Data under the Agreement (and includes, as far as it concerns the relationship between the parties regarding the processing of Personal Data by SAP on behalf of Customer, the GDPR as a minimum standard, irrespective of whether the Personal Data is subject to GDPR or not).

  • Applicable Data Protection Laws means all national, international and local laws, regulations and rules by any government, agency or authority relating to data protection and privacy which are applicable to CPA Global or the Customer, including but not limited to The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), (GDPR);

  • Data Protection Acts means Data Protection Act 1988, as amended by the Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003, and as may be modified, amended, supplemented, consolidated or re- enacted from time to time;

  • Applicable Data Protection Law means all data privacy or data protection laws or regulations globally that apply to the Processing of Personal Information under this Data Processing Agreement, which may include Applicable European Data Protection Law.

  • EU Data Protection Law means (i) prior to 25 May 2018, Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data ("Directive") and on and after 25 May 2018, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR"); and (ii) Directive 2002/58/EC concerning the processing of Personal Data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector and applicable national implementations of it (as may be amended, superseded or replaced).

  • Statutory Penalties are those amounts awarded as a penalty, but are fixed in amount by statute.

  • Data Protection Laws and Regulations means all laws and regulations, including laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, applicable to the Processing of Personal Data under the Agreement.

  • HITECH Act means the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, TitleXIII, Subtitle D, Part 1 & 2 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

  • Community health worker means an individual who:
