Section 45125.1 requires that employees of entities providing such services to school districts must be fingerprinted by the California Department of Justice for a criminal records check, unless the NUSD determines that the CONTRACTOR and CONTRACTOR’S employees will have limited contact with pupils.
Examples of courses include (but not limited to) Intro to Sociology, General Psychology, Intro to Criminal Justice, Cultural Anthropology, Mass Media, etc.
CONTRACTOR shall comply with the requirements of California Education Code sections 44237, 35021.1, 35021.2, and 56366.1 including, but not limited to: obtaining clearance from both the California Department of Justice (hereinafter referred to as “CDOJ”) and clearance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (hereinafter referred to as "FBI") for CONTRACTOR’s employees and volunteers who will have or likely may have any direct contact with LEA students.
CONTRACTOR shall provide the LEA with the verified dates of fingerprint clearance, Department of Justice clearance and Tuberculosis Test clearance for all employees, approved subcontractors and/or volunteers prior to such individuals starting to work with any student.
