Jury Service definition

Jury Service. A Director who serves on jury duty shall be granted the day or days necessary as stipulated by the court to discharge this responsibility without any salary deducted or loss of basic leave allowance. The compensation received for jury duty service shall be remitted to the District.

Jury Service in relation to any person means service as a juror in any civil or criminal proceedings triable by jury at any sitting of the court;
