IT Resource means: IT infrastructure, cloud services, software, and/or hardware with computing and/or networking capability that is Supplier owned/managed or UC- owned, or a personally owned device that stores Institutional Information, is connected to UC systems, is connected to UC networks, or is used for UC business. IT Resources include, but are not limited to: personal and mobile computing systems and devices, mobile phones, printers, network devices, industrial control systems (including but not limited to: SCADA, PLCs, DPC, Operational Technology, etc.), access control systems, digital video monitoring systems, data storage systems, data processing systems, backup systems, electronic and physical media, biometric and access tokens, Internet of Things (IoT), or any other device that connects to any UC network.

Examples of IT Resource in a sentence

• The Provider agrees to secure prior written approval by means of a Department Information Resource Request (IRR) form before the purchase of any IT Resource.

• Customer may access specified areas of the HPE IT Resource Center.

• Customer employees who submit HPE Solution Center service requests via the HPE IT Resource Center must meet the qualifications set forth in sub-section H.2 above.

• Customer will pay its own telecommunication charges associated with using HPE IT Resource Center, installing and maintaining ISDN links and Internet connections (or HPE-approved alternatives) to the HPE Solution Center, or using the Proprietary Service Tools.

• HPE IT Resource Center is available via the worldwide web for certain types of Support.

• The Provider will not be compensated for any IT Resource purchases made prior to obtaining the Department's written approval.

• This provision does not relate to malware or viruses that attack the running IT Resource.

• The use of Contract funds for the purchase of IT Resource components must be approved by the Department’s Contract Manager as appropriate and allowable under the terms of the Contract.

• All Department Contract Providers must receive written approval from the Department prior to purchasing any Information Technology (IT) Resource used in the performance of contractual obligations under this Contract.

• The Provider will not be reimbursed for any IT Resource purchases made prior to obtaining the Department's written approval.
