ISPS Code definition

ISPS Code means the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code as adopted by the International Maritime Organisation, as the same may be amended or supplemented from time to time;
ISPS Code means the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code constituted pursuant to resolution A.924 (22) of the International Maritime Organisation (“IMO”) adopted by a Diplomatic conference of the IMO on Maritime Security on 13 December 2002 and now set out in Chapter XI-2 of the Safety of Life at Sea Convention (SOLAS) 1974 (as amended) to take effect on 1 July 2004;

  • Notwithstanding any prior acceptance of vessel by Seller, if at any time prior to the passing of risk and title the vessel ceases to comply with the requirements of the ISPS Code: a) Seller shall have the right not to berth such nominated vessel and any demurrage resulting shall not be for the account of the Seller.

  • The Seller's liability to the Buyer under this agreement for any costs, losses or expenses Incurred by the vessel, the Charterers or the vessel owners resulting from the failure of the loading port/terminal/installation to comply with the ISPS Code shall be limited to the payment of demurrage and costs actually incurred by the Buyer in accordance with the provisions of this clause.

  • Buyers shall procure that the vessel shall comply with the requirements of the International Code for the Security of Ships and Port Facilities and the relevant amendments to Chapter XI of SOLAS (ISPS Code).

  • Seller warrants that the loading port and loading terminal are in compliance with the ISPS Code and the MTSA.

  • For CIF/CFR/DAP/DAT and DDP sales, Seller warrants that the Vessel complies with the requirements of the ISPS Code and the MTSA.

ISPS Code means the International Ship and Port Security Code of the International Maritime Organisation and includes any amendments or extensions thereto and any regulations issued pursuant thereto;
ISPS Code means the International Ship and Port Security Code as adopted by the Conference of Contracting Governments to the Safety of Life at Sea Convention 1974 on 13 December 2002 and incorporated as Chapter XI-2 of the Safety of Life at Sea Convention 1974.
