International Authorities definition

International Authorities means the receiving Offices, the International Searching Authorities, the International Preliminary Examining Authorities, and the International Bureau;
International Authorities has the meaning ascribed in Section 4.1(f)(i);

Examples of International Authorities in a sentence

  • Slight variations in layout in the Forms referred to in paragraph (a)(ii) to (v) are permitted to the extent necessary to meet the particular office requirements of the International Authorities, in particular in view of the production of the Forms by computer or of the use of window envelopes.

  • Section 110 DatesAny date in the international application, or used in any correspondence emanating from International Authorities relating to the international application, shall be indicated by the Arabic number of the day, by the name of the month, and by the Arabic number of the year.

  • The Offices which act as International Authorities should continue to take steps to improve both the actual and perceived quality and consistency of the reports which they establish in accordance with the current Treaty, Regulations and Guidelines, to ensure that they provide content which designated and elected Offices wish to take into account.

  • Local authorities means every county, municipal, and other local board or body having authority to adopt police regulations under the constitution and laws of this state.

  • Governmental Authorities means governments, regulatory authorities, governmental departments, agencies, commissions, bureaus, officials, ministers, Crown corporations, courts, bodies, boards, tribunals or dispute settlement panels or other law, rule or regulation-making organizations or entities:

  • Government Authorities means, without limitation, all Government departments and agencies with responsibility for the import and export of goods, the collection of revenue on the import and export of goods and the transport of those goods to include, without limitation, Customs, AQIS, the ATO and the RSA;

  • Foreign central authority means the entity designated by a foreign country described in section 102(e)(iv) to perform the functions specified in the Convention.

  • local authority means the council of a municipality that is a city, town or shire constituted under the Local Government Xxx 0000;

  • International airport means an airport:

  • Regulatory Authorities means the Commissions and the Exchange;

  • medical authority means the medical authority as referred to in clause (p) of section 2 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 or such other medical authority as may, by notification, be specified by the Central Government for certifying “autism”, “cerebral palsy”, “multiple disabilities”, “person with disability” and “severe disability” referred to in clauses (a), (c), (h), (j) and (o) of section 2 of the National Trust for Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Act, 1999;

  • Insurance Regulatory Authority means, with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department or similar Governmental Authority charged with regulating insurance companies or insurance holding companies, in its jurisdiction of domicile and, to the extent that it has regulatory authority over such Insurance Subsidiary, in each other jurisdiction in which such Insurance Subsidiary conducts business or is licensed to conduct business.

  • Applicable Insurance Regulatory Authority means the insurance department or similar insurance regulatory or administrative authority or agency of the jurisdiction in which the Company is domiciled.

  • United States central authority means the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.

  • Securities Regulatory Authorities means the securities commission or similar regulatory authority in each province and territory of Canada that is responsible for administering the Canadian securities legislation in force in such jurisdictions;

  • Governmental Authority(ies) means any Federal, state, local, quasi-governmental instrumentality or foreign court, or governmental agency, authority, instrumentality, agency, bureau, commission, department or regulatory body.

  • Health Authority means the regional health board designated under the Health Authority Act, RSBC 1996, c.180, or the Provincial Health Services Authority, to which the Participant is designated under Section 5.4 of this Contract, unless designated otherwise by the Province;

  • competent authorities means the competent authorities of the Member States as identified on the websites listed in Annex II;

  • Control authority means either:

  • Revisional Authority means an authority appointed or authorised for revision of decision or orders as referred to in section 108;

  • international air transport means air transport that passes through the airspace over the territory of more than one State;

  • International Trade Laws means all Laws relating to the import, export, re-export, deemed export, deemed re-export, or transfer of information, data, goods, and technology, including but not limited to the Export Administration Regulations administered by the United States Department of Commerce, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations administered by the United States Department of State, customs and import Laws administered by United States Customs and Border Protection, any other export or import controls administered by an agency of the United States government, the anti-boycott regulations administered by the United States Department of Commerce and the United States Department of the Treasury, and other Laws adopted by Governmental Authorities of other countries relating to the same subject matter as the United States Laws described above.

  • Antitrust Authorities means the Federal Trade Commission, the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice, the attorneys general of the several states of the United States of America, and any other Governmental Authority having jurisdiction pursuant to applicable Antitrust Laws with respect to the transactions contemplated hereby.

  • international carriage means any carriage in which, according to the contract of carriage, the place of departure and the place of destination are situated in two different States, or in a single State if, according to the contract of carriage or the scheduled itinerary, there is an intermediate port of call in another State;
