International Applicants to mean companies whose Primary Contact resides outside of Canada. Applicants must include an international mailing address and be able to confirm residency outside Canada. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your eligibility in this category. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your company arriving in Canada adhere strictly to all COVID-19-related (or any other) public health requirements in place at the time of your arrival, including (but not limited to) vaccination requirements and mandatory quarantine periods. Xxxxxxxx Fringe Festival may require proof that all such requirements have been followed by your company and/or members of your company. If your company and/or members of your company are found to be in contravention of any such requirements, the festival reserves the right to immediately cancel all affected performances. Furthermore, offending companies shall forfeit all past fees and any outstanding box office proceeds. It is your responsibility to ensure that you acquire the necessary visa(s), work permit(s) and/or waiver(s). If you do not apply for or receive a waiver, the Fringe is required by law to withhold 15% of ticket revenues and the company must then apply to Revenue Canada for a refund.

  • International Borrower In connection with any Mortgage Loan, a borrower who is (a) a United States citizen employed in a foreign country, (b) a non-permanent resident alien employed in the United States or (c) a citizen of a country other than the United States with income derived from sources outside the United States.

  • International means a telecommunications service that originates or terminates in the United States and terminates or originates outside the United States, respectively. United States includes the District of Columbia or a U.S. territory or possession.

  • Co-Applicant means an employer or potential employer.

  • International Plan means any Employee Plan that is not a US Plan.

  • Licensed financial institution means a financial institution issued a license under this act.

  • International Classification means the Classification established under the Locarno Agreement Establishing an International Classification for Industrial Designs;

  • Job applicant means a person, independent contractor, or person working for an independent contractor who applies to become an employee of the school district in a position that does not require a commercial driver’s license, and includes a person who has received a job offer made contingent on the person’s passing drug or alcohol testing. Job applicants for positions requiring a commercial driver’s license are governed by the provisions of the school district’s drug and alcohol testing policy relating to school bus drivers (Section III.).

  • international agreement means the Multilateral Convention for Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters, any bilateral or multilateral Tax Convention, or any Tax Information Exchange Agreement to which the Member State is a party, and that by its terms provides legal authority for the exchange of tax information between jurisdictions, including automatic exchange of such information.

  • Insurance Regulatory Authority means, with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department or similar Governmental Authority charged with regulating insurance companies or insurance holding companies, in its jurisdiction of domicile and, to the extent that it has regulatory authority over such Insurance Subsidiary, in each other jurisdiction in which such Insurance Subsidiary conducts business or is licensed to conduct business.

  • International Trade Laws means all Laws relating to the import, export, re-export, deemed export, deemed re-export, or transfer of information, data, goods, and technology, including but not limited to the Export Administration Regulations administered by the United States Department of Commerce, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations administered by the United States Department of State, customs and import Laws administered by United States Customs and Border Protection, any other export or import controls administered by an agency of the United States government, the anti-boycott regulations administered by the United States Department of Commerce and the United States Department of the Treasury, and other Laws adopted by Governmental Authorities of other countries relating to the same subject matter as the United States Laws described above.
