InterMTA Traffic definition

InterMTA Traffic is: (a) traffic originated by a CMRS end user of ALLTEL in an MTA and terminated to an end user of MATC in another MTA; and (b) traffic originated by an end user of MATC in one MTA and terminated to an end user of ALLTEL in another MTA.
InterMTA Traffic means traffic to or from WSP’s network that, at the beginning of the call, originates in one MTA and terminates in another MTA.
InterMTA Traffic. For purposes of intercarrier compensation under this Agreement, InterMTA Traffic means telecommunications traffic between CenturyLink and a CMRS provider that, at the beginning of the call, originates in one Major Trading Area but terminates in a different Major Trading Area. For purposes of determining whether traffic originates and terminates in different MTAs, and therefore whether the traffic is InterMTA, the location of the central office that serves the landline end user and the location of the cell site that serves the mobile end user at the beginning of the call may be used.

More Definitions of InterMTA Traffic

InterMTA Traffic means traffic to or from WSP’s network that originates in one MTA and terminates in another MTA (as determined by the geographic location of the cell site to which the mobile End User is connected).
InterMTA Traffic means all calls that originate in one MTA and terminate in another MTA.
InterMTA Traffic means traffic that, at the beginning of the call, originates on Telco’s network in one MTA and terminates on Carrier’s network in another MTA.

IntraLATA Toll Traffic: Telecommunications traffic between two locations within one LATA where one of the locations lies outside of the originating or terminating CenturyLink Local Calling Area as defined in CenturyLink’s local exchange Tariff on file with the Commission.
InterMTA Traffic means all wireless to wireline calls, which originate in one MTA and terminate in another MTA.
